Answer:	Size 11 is right at 14 inches from ground. Bottom of heel end of sole angles up slightly from pavement, but distance from “pavement” to top back of boot is 14 inches. It’s a great boot.

Answer:	Both the Sidi and the Alpinestars are comfortable to walk around in. My size 10 converted to a size 44 in the Sidi and size 45 in the Alpinestars which gave me a little more room in the toe box, while the Sidi felt a little more fitted. It all depends on what type of fit that you are use to. Have not had any problems walking around in either pair. The Sidi does develop a squeak at the instep which can be quieted by adjusting the positioning of the side flap and and the backing for the buckle. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I found the fit to be consistent with my regular size. So you should be fine. I will tell you -this is a good boot, but I didn't end up keeping mine. I bought the Sidi Adventures and I love them. Best boot I have ever owned. Just saying... :)

Question:	are these real ?? why are they cheaper than normal
Answer:	These are real. I ended up paying over $30 in shipping, but they are the real deal. I wear a US size 10, and the size 44 is just right in length. However, they are pretty loose in the ankles and calves for me. I have them tightened as far as they will go, and they still feel too lose. I have very narrow feet and pretty skinny legs.
