Answer: They are not slim calf. We ordered thinking maybe they would work but calf was to big. The return was easy enough.

Answer: I got size 9, and the calf size was regular. I usually wear a wide, but these fit like a glove. I love them as they are inexpensive but look good. I use them for schooling, hunting and showing. They last about 3 years with rough treatment. The leather is very soft and zero break in time...hence why I buy them!! I've gotten 2 or 3 pairs over the years. You can't go wrong with them.
Question: How flexible is the sole on this boot? I already have a pair of tactical boots with soles as stiff as 2x4s
Answer: I would imagine they will, if they fit well. They did not work for me, the ankle was impossibly tight for me and the height was also short for me, i measure 19" from behind my knee to the floor. Sorry, they seem like a great boot for the price. Just not for me.

Answer: My advice is to take a number larger (in your case No. 13) when it comes to driving a motorcycle for comfort. And when it's running, sneakers are always taken 12 in your case, because that's important to avoid joint injuries.

Answer: I'm not sure. I ordered the size I usually wear and even tho they were comfortable, my heel slid up and down. I sent them back and got a half size smaller. I wasn't a fan of how they for and sent them back again. I have since moved on to a different pair all together and happy I did.

Answer: Yes, it is noticeably less breathable. Your foot will heat up but it’s not horrible. You mostly notice it if you are wearing them around a lot. While riding, no. However, I must say that these are awesome shoes. They fit me well and are constructed tough. One of my favorites!
