Answer:	It's difficult, and requires some leverage, but if you have the guard on the wrong way, it won't click in. There should be little slots that match the shoulder of the blade, and they have to be lined up correctly

Answer:	The shipping weight is listed as 1.1 lbs (a little under 1lb 2oz.). Question:	Will these fit a 2004 yahama kodiak
Answer:	25x8x12 and 25x10x12 fit my 2002 Kodiac 400 front and rear as exact match to the stock tires. These things are awesome traction and steer straight ahead without wondering.

Answer:	Mine are on 8" in front and 10" in the back and they fit perfect. There will definitely be room to go 1" bigger or smaller but just not as perfect.
