Answer:	Hi, I went for the clamp on version, being an engineer I like the option to remove/reposition etc. It's a good tight fit and I simply couldn't be happier with the grips a season later. The only negative being the flimsy plastic bracket that hold the little control box to the bars, although it hasn't broken, it's just a cheap part on an otherwise excellent set up.

Answer:	They are not small hoops, but not large top to bottom maybe one inch. They are a nice size. I’m one that gets a little aggravated because in the advertisement they do not tell the size in inches.

Answer:	Yes, I installed on a 2007 Sportsman 500 deluxe, worked great, you will have to drill hole in headlight housing for toggle switch, and use compressed air to get old grips off, works like magic. Put air nozzel in hole on end of old grips and they will come off very easy

Answer:	I am not sure, I am going to Colorado on a combo deer/elk hunt next month and have not used them in the cold weather yet. A friend has a set from a competitor brand and swears by them. I am thinking they will be plenty warm. I had them professionally installed to the ignition. Otherwise, they could drain the battery.

Answer:	Nope. Needs 12v power and a good ground

Answer:	The wires do not have sealed connections but they sit under my ATV's panels so I'm not worried about water. You could seal off the wires with heat shrink tubing if you want a good seal. The instructions recommend just using an ignition wire. That's exactly what I did and I have not run into any problems.

Answer:	Measure the diameter of your handlebars. The following was taken from Koplin website: Easy to install with fully assembled, plug-n-play electrical connectors to any standard ATV or snowmobile with 7/8" handlebars. If you do not have 7/8 inch handlebars they will not fit!
Question:	Do they shut off when the machine is shut off or do you have the remember to hit a switch each time
Answer:	If you wire them direct to the battery you have to shut them off manually with the switch. If you wire them to a spot that is only hot when the key is on they will shut off when you stop the motor.
Question:	How many amps of power do I need
Answer:	The paperwork says " 0.68 amp on low and 2.57 amp on high ". I hope that helps. It has 3amp fuse.

Answer:	The quad zone kit has 2 extra spots for additional heaters. I don’t see why you couldn’t have a windshield heater if it has the rca style plug in

Answer:	I am not sure. I mounted the controller to my winch toggle switch with the bracket provided. I didn't care for the plastic handle bar mount bracket. I am not sure how much room the windshield restricts the handle bars but I still had plenty of room after mounting to the winch toggle bracket.

Answer:	i have done a few and if your blower has 7/8th bars the left will fit but the right will not as it is larger ID for twist grip applications. these only draw about 3 amps max on high so a normal blower alternator has enough power to do the job.

Answer:	if the handlebar or bar ends are 7/8th inch OD they will. and they're easy to wire and work really great. i do recommend you put a little cover or sandwich bag on the controller if you are going to ride in rain all day or thru streams, etc. they don't take well to repeated dousings.

Answer:	I have a 2005 suzuki Eiger 400 with a thumb throttle and it works fine. I do not have an extension on the throttle. May not work if you have an extension on throttle but should work fine with normal thumb throttle.

Answer:	The Heat Demon thumb warmer will operate correctly on 18 volts DC power, but we would advise against running your existing grip heaters and thumb heater on the same switch. The thumb heater will get extremely hot when run at 18 volts and may have the potential to burn your thumb if run on high for extended periods of time. Wiring the thumb heater to its own switch will allow you to cycle the thumb on and off if it becomes too hot during use. Thanks and have a wonderful day!

Answer:	Yes because they each draw only a few amps but remember this means they will always BOTH be on high or low together and you may not want this. I like using a good three way steel switch -- part no. HP4820 handy pack toggle switch you can get at auto parts store and get a rubber boot to screw over switch to protect switch from water etc.

Two methods for installation:

First:

With 3M on the back of the Switch,you can paste it on the handbar of your motorcycle.

Second:

There is also one mounting holder in the package ,Install the holder at the bottom of the rearview mirror ,then paste the switch on the holder. One holder included,paste the switch on after installing it at the bottom of the rearview mirror .
