Answer:	I would be cautious of overheating the unit using a 15W bulb, especially since it isn't ventilated. You could melt the plastic elements, or worse, start a fire. Check the wattage limits on the package. I would go with a LED bulb at 7W rather than incandescent. It will be much brighter for the same wattage and keep things safe.

Answer:	It seems functional enough for my 8 year old Brownie Girl Scout, but I wouldn't rely on it for my sole compass. Also, it does not come with matches as shown.
Question:	What is the length and width of the mirror
Answer:	See that little black strip on the side of the container in the photo? That's a small (1in long) ferrocerium rod. It's set so deep in the plastic that you actually end up shaving a bit of the container off before you can get a good strike on the rod. Also, since its right in the middle of the item, it would be very impractical to get a spark into your tinder. Still, if you were to pry it out and put it into the container, it could be a helpful piece of kit. I can't comment on the quality of the actual rod - I haven't tried using it to start fires myself.

Answer:	No. There is a protective film on the mirror of the product. The protective film on the front of the product you received is very scratched. You need to tear off the protective film on the front. A brand new mirror will appear. and the product is also protected by a packaging box, so don't worry.

Answer:	It's reflecting sunlight, so much further than that, the signal flash can be seen up to 80 miles / 128 Km on a bright- clear day. These mirrors are great quality and much better than the coated plastic mirrors sold in many outdoor shops like REI. I don't recommend the 3 X 5 inch size. the 2 X 3 inch is smaller, lighter and all that you need. Highly recommended!!!

Answer:	The inside of the drawers is very small, but large enough for a little treat. Inside measures about 1 inch wide by 1 1/4 deep, by 1 1/4 high. Hope this helps. It is really beautiful. I purchased it for my new granddaughter and my son-in-law thinks it great.

Answer:	Hi Ryan, my U-Dig-It is arriving this 2sday. I noticed there is one UST U-Dig-It which appears first on Amazon which sells for 9.24 (as I type now) which doesn't show a pouch. If you scroll down, right underneath there is the exact same shovel, click on it and a pouch comes with it for 15.35 from Amazon. Answer:	as of this writing oct 2017 on botach.com they have an old supply of the original Made in USA shovels. current stock is 231. I bought 4 of these shovels on their website between Sept 2017 and Oct 2017 and they were the original made in USA shovels. They do not come with covers they are being sold for $15 with no tax and free shipping. On botachs website just search for Udig and the shovel will pop up and on Botach website it still gives the product description of Made in the USA.
Question:	having trouble tightening ram ball on mirror mount. do they make one with wrench flats
Answer:	The compass is a knock-off of the now retired (and much revered) Brunton 2DCL. But much inferior. Seattle Mountaineers and local SAR instructors do not recommend the compass to our several hundred students after rigorously bench testing two of them.
Question:	Anyone know how many decibles
Answer:	It is declination adjustable. If you look closely, you can see the screw next to the northeast bezel line. This compass is ridiculously good, considering that it is essentially free.
Question:	How does this compare to a Storm whistle
Answer:	Actually it does. I just used mine to accurately estimate the height of my bookcase across my long living room to +\- 6in error (i guessed distance to the bookcase). The inclinometer is the small red arrow with a red line extending through the arrow point, located inside the clear area of the compass. You need to use some trigonometry but it works. Turn the dial so that 90deg west is at the index line (which is just under the mirror. You should see thr declination scale to thr left of the dial.) Turn the compass on its side so the mirror is on thr left. Thr inclinometer (small solid red arrow on a swivel inside the compass) should swing through the liquid to point straight down. ) position the mirror so u can see yhe reflection of the graduated dial. sight to the top of the rock/tree/mountain you are measuring throu the sighting notch at the top of the mirror (it should be on the left in this position). In the reflection, read the angle where the inclinometer arrow points to the declination scale. (Angle A) Next, repeat the above to sight the base of the object whose height you are measuring (angle B) Now, math: Height = (tanA + tanB) × Distance to object It takes a min or two buti think its incrrdibly useful for a $7 compass especially considering my friend just spend over $30 on a compass from REI that doesnt have a mirror, doesnt have an inclinometer arrow, and has no glowing marks.
