Didn't play on windows media player or nero showtime or any that I have. I know that you can review on the tiny screen but the full size is very clear. It does seem to stop and start. I think it would play smoothly if downloaded to a file in the pc. The camera is very warm to the touch but I understand it is supposed to operate warm.
