Answer:	This held an adult 26" bike mtn bike and a 24" mtn bike with no issues. Its is not solid metal but it is metal tubing. I have used it several times and had not issues. I have never put a person on it so I cannot say yes or not to that but think it would be sturdy enough.

Answer:	If your bracket is flat and bolts to frame not the top of the fender then you should not need a bracket. The trunk should bolt on to a secure bracket that is attached to frame. Brackets attached to fenders have to much play when the passenger applies pressure to truck.

Answer:	I dont think so. I have attempted to do that and bought mismatched items in the past that don't fit. This box served me well through one trip, then flew off my bike in traffic. Its cheap. The mounting plate had to be drilled to fit my bike even though its "universal". Im sticking with OEM.

Answer:	I don't know for sure, but I would be prepared for some leaking. This is a good box at a lower price than a $400.00 box from GIVI. So buy it, and then modify it as needed.

Answer:	There is a mounting plate. I had to make something that would attach the mounting plate to my rack. I used a thin piece of plywood and covered it with liquid rubber to protect it from the weather. It's been a couple of years and no issues. I used almost a whole can of spray liquid rubber and applied several coats.
Question:	Will fit the rear seat of a 2001 bmw r1100rt
Answer:	The Max Mount is more than large and spacious enough to accommodate the mounting base of the MMG trunk. I'm sure the included hardware would be able to secure the base to the flat surface of the Max Mount, and then allow attachment of the trunk. Good luck! That's a great accessory for your Ryker!

Answer:	I've not been in any rain with it. I suspect there is too much zipper to be "waterproof" I suppose you could coat it with a sealer to help in a light rain. But, would suggest you use a dry bag to put anything in you don't want wet. Then put it into the bag. I will say, that I am very pleased with it. Might not look like, but, you can actually put a full face helmet into it.
