Answer:	Usually this heavy duty U lock is used with a security cable when locking up a bicycle. That way your bike can locked to an immovable object such as a guard rail. If you used it, for instance on the forks only - which you could - then your bicycle would not be very safe as someone could just pick it up and walk off with it.

Answer:	I'm not 100% sure on that. But what I do know is I have a 2016 Softail slim s Harley Davidson and it fits really tight on it. To the point where I have to force it on so I don't even use it. On the other hand my friend has an Yamaha R1 and I tried it on that and it works great on his R1.

Answer:	My Accelerator lever will not turn at all with this device on because they provided a rubber spacer on the device that when the lock is on is so snug that the Grip can not be used. When I use the brake grip lock device I also lock my fork on an angle. As i am sure you know there is no device that will totally stop the theft of an item if a thief really want it. Because they also do not care if they break what is not theirs they will try it any way. I watched my bike from a window seat at a local Pub and saw three not so trustworthy people looking at it and as soon as they went to the front by the locked grip, they just walked away, making me feel it is at least a great deterrent for a small price.

Steps To Use:

1. Press the lock button to lock the disc brake,and you will hear the sound "beep". When the lock is vibrated, the lock will give off an alarm "beep beep beep" three times in case this is an accident.When vibrated again,Silver Knight will give off an continuous shrill alarm for 10-12 seconds.And it keeps alarm with serial vibration.

2.Silver Knight will cost you 3-5 seconds to open the lock ,if the key does not match,it will give off an alarm. Use the right key to open the lock,the alarm will stop at once.

3.The Reminder cable/cord has a loop at each end,to connect your disc lock to your hand grip.It will remind you to remove the lock when you are going to for a ride.



Battery Replacement

When the lock no longer make sharp alarms,instead produce constant sound "Ge Ge Ge…", that means the battery is going to be exhausted and you need to replace them. Please use the Mini Wrench we provided to spin out the fours screw at the bottom,take away the shell and replace the battery. Pay attention to the anode "+" and cathode "-".

Question:	How long does the battery last
Answer:	I have had this for more than 6 months and use it daily. I park my bike in the garage of my hotel and I know that people touch my bike (security officers informed me of this) so it goes off regularly. I have not had change the battery so far so if you park it where there are few people touching it then you can double of triple the life of the battery.
Question:	What if you apply the dislock and your not close to the bike. Can someone switch wheels to stole the bike
Answer:	As soon as the device feels some movement to the wheel or bike itself it’ll start beeping loudly. If you’re not able to hear it then you’re bike will get stolen. It’s an alarm device. Somebody can take your wheels off and steal it.
Question:	The product i received was missing the 1.5 m reminder cable that is advertised. any chance i can be sent that so i don't have to return the lock
Answer:	Yes. You can always contact the seller and ask for a refund or just your cable missing.
Question:	Will the alarm turn off on its own once it goes off? When? What if I am out of town and the alarm goes off for a long time disturbing neighbors. wd
Answer:	When the alarm go off is does turn off by itself after 30sec or 1min but that is if some 1 touch the bike, is a 5star alarm i love it I recommended.
