Question:	why does the 9012 bulb only have 3 LED per side, but the other models have
Answer:	Let us translate what you meant; 20W 120V T4 (T4=1/8" Times 4 is the bulb width) with E11/MC (Miniature Candelabra) base. This bulb only comes in Krypton/Argon or Krypton/Xenon in wattages of 20, 40, 60 a lot of the newer bathroom fixtures use these. This is wrong bulb listing you are on here. Hybec manufacturers both versions of this bulb at their factory in Japan, their own brand which is Krypton/Argon and Bulbrite which is Kryton/Xenon light produced by both bulbs will appears the same. Both bulbs are in the halogen category and neither contains halogen gas, sellers who are not knowledgeable about these bulbs continue to list these as halogen. However, in these wattages the bulbs only come in Krypton Argon or Xenon gas mix depending which brand. Bulbrite has a bulb series called KX2000 this bulb part of that series. Answer:	Q20CL is Quartz, 20 watt, CLear; this does not tell you the base type that is needed, it is going to be either E11 "miniature candelabra" or E12 "candelabra". Before ordering, the base type needs to be figured out, easiest way is check the fixture for a sticker that says what you need. All of this kind of bulb are made with quartz lenses that is nothing special, the lenses must be quartz as glass would melt. The thread depth on the bases differs slightly E11 thread depth 5/16", E12 thread depth 7/16", measure first if not certain which thread is needed.
