They do class up a fixture if the bulb is plainly visible. I ordered 20 altogether for 2 and 1/2 bathrooms. One bathroom had the cheap 8 globe fixture and when I added these bulbs it looked absolutely great. I did add a dimmer for different effects .....but with 8 bulbs you can get a tan. |

| Answer: | It will work anywhere a regular light bulb works. However, will let you know that it isn't as bright as the regular light bulbs. I use it in a lamp in a bedroom and it is a subdued type of lighting, good for next to a bed - it will work in a lamp that has 3 levels of light - like a 3-way bulb. |
