Question:	Can I cut the cigarette lighter off to expose the bare wire and then use a fuse splitter to hook it up to constant power? What color is ground
Answer:	Your car does not have 12v, it's 13+ or 14+ depending on whether it's running and how well charged the battery is. It will work, but it will run hotter and probably burn out sooner. Make sure you use an appropriately sized, separate fuse. If you piggyback off another fuse and connect to the hot side it won't be fused, and it will be a fire hazard. Remember, just because something works doesn't make it a good idea.

Answer:	I used a toggle switch to cut the power between the battery as a safety measure. Use alcohol to clean area in which you are installing. I drilled some holes in the seal connection prior to installing the strip. Cleaned area placed the strip then used some small zip ties as a safety measure to hold the lights.

Answer:	A lot of cleaning, alcohol wipe areas, possibly drill wholes in under connection vehicle seal. Then use small zip ties as a safety holder. The 3m holds pretty good but I did this as a safety.
