Answer:	1st I'll say I love this visor extension (I have 3, 1 in our CRV, 1 in my Ridgeline & 1 in a company van). in the Ridgeline it comes down about 4 inches and about the same for the CRV, the co. van the visor has larger visors so it only comes down about 3 inches. I do extend it down but mostly use it for the side to side adjustment to block the sun in un covered areas. you don't want it down too much that it may obscure your road vision... highly recommend the TFY Car Visor Sunshade Sun Visor Extender and will buy more as needed. Answer:	I don't know about the spf; but this is the best one I've used. It blocks the glare, gives good coverage and yet is still thin enough that I can see on coming traffic even using both shields at once. I use it on my driver's side window. Some shields block vision and having to pull them on and then re-attach them is a hassle. The TFY shield comes with a good suction cup! Put the shield on, give the suction cup nob a little twist and it stays!
