Answer:	It was very small... about 4x8 inches the whole item...the mirror itself maybe 2x4...and I say was because it broke very soon...first the batteries would spring out constantly then after adding some tape just keep falling off until finally one day came down crashing and broke off.

Answer:	My visor shut, but I found out later that the metal protrusion on the back of the mirror was putting a dent in the cab liner of my car which was visible when my visor was down. Eventually it would have poked a hole in it. Also the cover over the mirror clicks when opened, which turns the light on, and it broke off completely after only 2 months. So then the light didn't work anymore. I do not recommend this car mirror!
