Answer:	Try removing bottom attachment and hold with one hand. Then try pressing the release button as you gently pull down with other hand. This should release excess tension on spring lock mechanism. Immediately raise bottom and if it does not retract ; the spring is likely defective. Request return authorization if defective.
Question:	Does the large size pull over the entire door window frame? The picture shows it different than the small shade
