Answer:	No it does not...however it does come with a plastic piece that offers the option to (hear me out) screw it into, I'm assuming, your door or under the dash?? (I'm still trying to figure that out) To act as a "base" for the tool to snap onto.....think of the plastic piece that a new razor is attached to, in the package, its like that and the tool just snaps in place. You could easily swap 3m tape for the screws to avoid damaging ur vehicle. That being said, I prefer to keep mine in my consol right beside me for easy access. Wherever u store it, u definitely want it within reach and if its in the visor, that may make it difficult for let's say, your passenger to grab in the event you are knocked unconscious and their seat belt is locked up. In the console at least, its in between both the driver and passenger and easy to grab when panic starts to set in.

Answer:	I don't see any reason why it won't work on newer cars. I am driving a 2019 suv so I purchased this emergency window breaker for that.

Question:	How do you turn on the white led flashlight? the main button only turns on the red flashing light
Answer:	Just above the button that turns on the red flasher is a smaller black button that turns on the flashlight. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Question:	How do I open it to replace batteries
Answer:	I struggled with that for a while too, but finally got it. On the bottom end beneath the blade area, there is a small black cap that unscrews enough so you can pop the cap off. That is where you fill it with batteries. The battery shaped indentation on the side of the tool shows you the direction the batteries go. Hope this helps.
