I've had mine a month set at 0°F it cycles on at 5°F then turns off at 0°F after a min or so the temp will usually drop to -01°F . I've never bought a sweater or anything besides T-shirts that fit them perfectly around their bodies - either too short and fits their bodies or long enough, but too big around the body. I have pretty "standard" sized dogs, so I'm pretty sure I'm not alone in this. Best thing is just to make alterations to the sweater to tailor it to your dog's body.
