Answer:	Watch the video closely and follow each step. I watched the video while I installed it and paused and rewind the video a few times. Make sure all your wires are plugged in all the way in the harnesses I had the same issue and my ignition plug wasn’t plugged in all the way.

Answer:	No you do not. I did not install either on my 2016 corolla s. Works perfect.
Question:	Once installed, will it work with my factory spare key also
Answer:	Work with both my keys after the programming just pushed the lock button 3 time and car started. If your spare key starts the car and unlocks the doors it should work. Used only one key for the programming.

Answer:	Whatever you do do not buy from this vendor. They have no customer service, not even amazon could give me a number for them that works

Answer:	No . Just do not press the brake without a key. Open the car place of operation, then press brake to the warning signs disappear. Wonderful device.
