Question:	Will this work on a 2005 Mercury grand marquis
Answer:	Installed mine on a 2007 Mercury Grand Marquis. You will need the bypass as this car comes with a transponder attached to the ignition cylinder. Connect 4 wires from the transponder bypass module to the Rx and Tx wires at the transponder ring; the other 2 wires of the bypass go to ignition and power of the remote start module. Just make sure to connect both accessory wires from the remote start module to the ignition harness, otherwise your stock oem keyless entry on the Grand Marquis won't work when the remote start is active. Made the mistake of connecting only accessory wire, remote started the Marquis, but the stock oem remotes that came with the car wouldn't open the doors. Went back to to investigate my wiring, found out I needed to connect the 2nd accessory wire. Test it it. Now I can unlock the doors with my OEM remote when th remote start is active.

Answer:	I had my Keys cut at Walmart for Free. Then I took them home and did what the directions said on how to program them to the truck. So far the work just Fine. I would give it another try. I had to do it a couple of times before it would work. I wish the directions were a little bigger to read. They were hard to understand at 1st. Hope that helps.

Answer:	Yes it is fully reversible just unplug the after market and plug back in your original harness

Answer:	It works in a 2019 push to start Highlander. I personally installed it this past Sunday. One customer, evidently had an issue, however they did not contact support so we dont know exactly what happened. Some folks get key start and push to start mixed up.

Using Your New System - 3X Lock

The module will monitor the OEM remote for 3X Lock and will start your vehicle when you press lock 3 times. An aftermarket remote is not necessary, there are no extra key fobs to carry around.

For extra long range you can add an optional long-range RF kit. If you want to go all out, you can choose a cell phone module which provides you the ability to start from virtually anywhere you have phone service.
