Answer:	This is not a stand alone its a stand alone add on Remote so you would have to buy more parts to make it work, and it did not work on my 2009 Lincoln navigator.

Answer:	No you will need to buy the flash link.. its generic in programming and will need to be updated as well as having your preferred option turned on or off. You will also need it install any updates

Question:	What is a OEM hood pin
Answer:	Im unsure of which hood pin you are referring to. However, all the connections needed for installation are compatible with the OEM ODB2 connection under the driver dash. This is the same connection that a dealership would use to run a "check engine" light check. The main "programming box" included in the kit has a connection that plugs into the back of that ODB2 connection. These batteries are designed to provide maximum consistent power but battery life depends on the presented loads. A sustained direct short (heaviest load possible) between the battery post will cause a dangerous, catastrophic failure, not good! Power (load) measured in Watts (Volts X Amperes) determines battery life, the higher the load the shorter the battery life. Conversely, most batteries do not operate in continuous discharge over their operational life. Most batteries are being recharged 24 / 7 until a demand is created. Most discharge operations only run for a short time (an hour or less). Also, battery longevity is determined by how many charge/discharge cycles it goes through. If your project requires an extended length of discharge time you may wish to look into batteries with higher ratings.
