Answer:	Installed mine on a 2007 Mercury Grand Marquis. You will need the bypass as this car comes with a transponder attached to the ignition cylinder. Connect 4 wires from the transponder bypass module to the Rx and Tx wires at the transponder ring; the other 2 wires of the bypass go to ignition and power of the remote start module. Just make sure to connect both accessory wires from the remote start module to the ignition harness, otherwise your stock oem keyless entry on the Grand Marquis won't work when the remote start is active. Made the mistake of connecting only accessory wire, remote started the Marquis, but the stock oem remotes that came with the car wouldn't open the doors. Went back to to investigate my wiring, found out I needed to connect the 2nd accessory wire. Test it it. Now I can unlock the doors with my OEM remote when th remote start is active.

As an installer myself, the module that will go with that system, depending on the brand in my experience i would stick with either FLashlogic or idatalink or omega link! These 3 brands are awsome when it come to bypass modules. The module is called FLDL1 or FLDL FOR YOUR VEHICLE. But if i may suggest for almost the same price i would go with the keyless remotestart which is model number 4103 and use all in 1 keyfob that does the lock and unlock off of one remote then instead of carrying 2 keyfobs with you! When either keyfob lock button is pressed 3 times the starter tied inline with the ignition recognizes the security code ent from either keyfob and start the truck.
