Answer:	You are going to need to trace all color coded wiring. The door locks are color coded for your up and down positions. The system works great but you need to plan a lot of time. I added a trunk release to the remote which required a separate relay purchase. The instructions do come with enough information to connect the system. I installed the system on a 1985 Monte Carlo. Good Luck! Worse case you pay a professional to install it. The most it should cost should be $150.00

Answer:	It would depend on the type of switch those areas would have, if any. Most vehicles will not have a factory switch for the hood, so you would need to add one. But this alarm allows for the doors and hood/trunk areas to be monitored while the alarm is armed. It will also have a slot on the alarm to hook up a additional shock sensor, but the alarm has a built-in shock sensor already. Also, along with a relay that can be wired up for the ignition kill. Answer:	My brand new Mophie 8x was just under half charged out of the box (two LEDs lit, but when plugged in, one LED solid and one LED blinking) and has been plugged into the USB port of my laptop, which is in turn plugged into the wall, for roughly 6-7 hours. I have gained 2 lights... I have 3 solid LEDs and one blinking LED. Ballpark, I'd say I've gained 50-70% charge (hard to say with a power meter that reads in 25% increments). Therefore, I'd calculate a full charge time of 10 hours, give or take, on a dead 8x, plugged into a USB port on a plugged-in computer. I'll test it plugged into a wall after I drain it.
