Answer:	The guide lines do stay on all the time. I was under the impression that there was some way to turn the lines off but having looked through so many models of cameras I can't recall that which if any of the cameras offer that option.
Question:	Hi, I was wondering if the digital transmitter alerts you if the alarm is triggered on the bike? And if so, does anyone know the range
Answer:	Instructions are not helpful but it's not difficult. You have to find out how to access the backup light on your car (search for video on Internet). Then cut the wire, strip itand splice 4 the wires (cut ends of backup light wires + camera + monitor). It is important to connect the hot wires (red) together and the ground wires (black or white) together. Then secure them with a twister. The optical wire from the backup camera to the monitor is an additional wire. How to hide the wires depends on the car. I was able to route the wire from the backup camera to the backup light through the license plate lamp (the port was big enough). I hid the wire under a molding that held the upholstery.This monitor does not pop up automatically; you have to press the button. However, it lies flat on the dashboard (self adhesive) when not in use. It comes with it's own backup camera but I bought a better one separately. It is important that the backup camera lens be WATERPROOF, otherwise it will fog.

Answer:	No it's not wireless, I chose this one because sometimes you get interference with the wireless ones. I had the smaller 4" wireless one first from another manufacture and it was hard to see and did cycle on and off every once and awhile. If your young with good eye sight you might like a smaller unit, this one is big but I like it better than the small one. Hope this helps

Answer:	The screen comes on when the red wire is connected to 12v and the black wire is connected to ground. In this scenario, with the screen powered on and nothing connected all you will get is a blue screen but connect the included camera to the video input on the screen and supply 12v to the camera and the blue screen will disappear and be replaced with the video from the camera. Power both camera and screen from the same source and they will turn on and off together (this way you will never get a blue screen). Connect them to the vehicle's backup lights and they both will turn on when the vehicle is in reverse. I drive a cargo van and have mine connected so that it is on as long as my engine is running, that way I can see behind me while I am driving.

As I was reading up on this camera and alternatives, prior to buying it, some reviews said that depending on your head unit, the picture may be reversed.I would check your head unit's features, as the camera doesn't do the "reversing," the H/U takes care of that.

Answer:	It deos not have the same resolution as a hd camera (1080x 1260) . It does have very good resolution in normal daylight i think its around 480x 600 or something like that. I tried a cheaper camera for my reverse monitor used on the pioneer head unit. There was a noticabke difference in quality between the 30 dollar cameras and the pioneer 125 dollar camera. Also the pioneer camera is enclosed in a metal case and has a very good quality lens. The lens on this camera seens to dispell any water on rainy days, it disipates very quickly. I really like this camera have had no problems with it.

Answer:	It will show distance but only when the sensors detect an object behind. On our system it will show only in ft (3.5 ft). The sensors are ok, seem to detect objects most of the time but only within about 6-7ft and only if the the vehicle is going pretty slowly.
