I have had three of the viper 5706 V 2 way security systems installed in three different maunufactured vehicles and all needed the bypass, though some other security systems may offer a bypass as part as their complete system. Answer:	It came out of the packages already synced! If not, read the instruction manual. There are instructions, although the English is funny, on how to do it.
