Question:	Would it work fir a 2008 Pontiac G6 convertible
Answer:	The circle ring pulls apart slightly if you look really closely. Once you get it apart, you can pull it open wider to clip it anywhere you’d like. It’s kind of hard to explain, but it has a hinge on one side, and comes apart on the other. Once you clip it together, it appears to be a solid ring. But I assure you it is not! It is very secure. I love mine!!! Zero issues with mine knocking against the windshield. Highly recommend this item!!!

Answer:	U should be able simultaneously push and pull the part to open it make sure ur opening on the flattened part with the small gap in it and not on the part where the hinge meets. Idk how to explain better but u take both hands place near the opening of the ring and push ur right hand away from u and ur left hand toward u and then move ur hands apart to further open the ring. Question:	I have a 78 Pontiac. How will I know what cables to splice and connect to? i doubt it comes with instructions for a 1978 pontiac...any ideas
Answer:	You are going to need to trace all color coded wiring. The door locks are color coded for your up and down positions. The system works great but you need to plan a lot of time. I added a trunk release to the remote which required a separate relay purchase. The instructions do come with enough information to connect the system. I installed the system on a 1985 Monte Carlo. Good Luck! Worse case you pay a professional to install it. The most it should cost should be $150.00

Question:	Classic convertible - need door/shock sensor & ignition kill. Can door sensor be wired to hood/trunk etc switches
Answer:	It would depend on the type of switch those areas would have, if any. Most vehicles will not have a factory switch for the hood, so you would need to add one. But this alarm allows for the doors and hood/trunk areas to be monitored while the alarm is armed. It will also have a slot on the alarm to hook up a additional shock sensor, but the alarm has a built-in shock sensor already. Also, along with a relay that can be wired up for the ignition kill.
