I helped a buddy move an entertainment cabinet the other day and we were able to get it to the top of the bed with the top rolled up in seconds. As far as the top rails, the clamps holding them are easily removed with a wrench so that shouldn’t be an issue. Installation takes about 10-20 minutes, so removing should be about the same |

| Answer: | On the 2016 Canyon the main housing (where the cover rolls up into) goes a little over the bed rails--maybe 1/8" behind the cab and 1/2" to 3/4" over the side rails. The cover of the side slide track housing goes slightly over the top of the side rails and the slide track itself 100% covers the top 3-4" of the inner bed rails and inside of the side bed walls. Looking at pictures of the trail boss roll bars--it looks like the far-rear mount points (farthest away from the cab) overhang the inside edge of the bed rails and cover part of the area where the slide track goes. You couldn't mount the slide track without cutting off big chunks of the roll bar rear mount points. |
