Answer:	This will fit a 2005 GMC/chevy with a 5.8 bed.

Question:	I have a bed liner. Can I drill through the bed liner for the clips and rest the rails on top of the liner
Answer:	I also have a bed liner and could not use the provided clips without cutting notches in the top sides of the bed liner. What I did was much easier than using the provided clips.I used inch and a half screws. I drilled three smaller pilot holes on each side of the bed through the top of the liner and the metal bed wall. I then drove the inch and a half screws through the pilot holes, through the bed liner and through the bed. Voila, a very secure connection for the frame of the new to tonneo cover.
