| Answer: | I bought 2 8 foot kits and drilled my own holes to attach half of one to the 8 foot section to give me 12 feet. You could use six foot width boards but I think it would sag in the middle. As it was, I put a wooden box underneath right in the middle to make it a little more solid. It did not come with hardware to attach it to the building. The handles that rest on the stairs do move a bit and you have to continue to push the ramp back but it wasn't a big deal. Overall it was a great option to wheel my mom in and out. |
