Answer: Hi Lauren, I'm really not sure. My cabinet base is 27 1/4 and I do have about 1 1/2 - 2 inches extra on each side. So it does not hit the inside walls of the cabinet. The inside of the sink is 20 inches across and 16 inches back to front. So the rim is about 1 1/2 inch around which is hidden by sink being under-mounted so dimensions say 23 inches by 18. So it's very close to your sink base size. You may want to give Kraus a call. If these are new cabinets your kitchen designer may know best because you really don't want to alter the sink base to much since it needs support. You also have to take into consideration too the sink is 10 inches deep and if undermounted under granite your sink will be 11 1/4 inch deep without bottom grate. The grate that it comes with is great (if you use it) will then bring the depth up about an inch. I love how deep the sink is. If you use a garbage disposal make sure that the height underneath in sink base will fit also since the sink is deep. My garbage disposal fit just fine. Best of luck. It's a great sink.

The Bauer EM is FMVSS206 approved for use in Motorized Vehicles. FMVSS206 is the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard which requires the lock system to possess the necessary strength for motorized vehicle usage.The Bauer EM is supplied with a Strike Plate that must be installed to insure compliance to the standard.



The Bauer EM uses 4 AA batteries for operation. We do not recommend zinc carbon batteries for this application. Batteries not included. Fresh batteries should be installed as necessary. Battery Life is highly dependent upon battery quality,usage, and environment (temperature). Remove batteries if the lock will not be used for extended periods of time.



The Bauer EM is a 4 touch pad button programmable deadbolt lock. The 4 buttons are labeled “1|2”, “3|4”, “5|6”, “7|8”. The button labeled “1|2” is the same button whether the number 1 or 2 is desired. Please note this handle uses Touch Technology.
