Answer:	Someone else answered “this paint is designed for metal”, but as an industrial painter, I would argue that this paint would bond amazingly well to wood. The porous nature of wood along with the thick and textured nature of this paint would create a very good mechanical bond when applied. Obviously some woods are more porous than others, so it may adhere to a soft wood like pine much better than a very dense wood like teak. Porosity aside, if you sand the wood very well with coarse sandpaper like 80 grit, you would still achieve an excellent bond. I would not use any sort of primer on the wood prior to application, however, don’t be surprised if the wood soaks up some the initial first coat. Cheers

However, the bottom is also waterproof, and between the two things it pretty much immobilizes the thing in the back of my SUV. However, I don't think it would be totally slip-resistent on an RV counter-top. The organizer is pretty heavy though, which would help.

Answer:	I used on the lumber rack for my truck following all the steps and wouldn't recommend you to use it. It doesn't stick to metal very well .I don't think would last under water.

Answer:	Per many hours of YouTube videos that were watched before I did my truck cap you should need approx 8 bottles to put the proper amount of coats for the exterior. As for the interior I would say about the same or maybe a little less depending on what your coating. You put it on in thin coats and once mixed the bottles are only good for about 30 mins so you have to be fast and have your area prepped for paint before mixing. Great product. Love the look and texture.

Answer:	Yes. According to DEI it's safe to use on all exhaust system alloys except for actual Titanium exhaust systems, which is heller expensive and not common. All but 1 header I've put on my 4 cars( 2 V-6's, an I-4 & turboed I-4) and the 5 Jeeps(1 w/old 4.2L I-6, 3 with 4.0L HO I-6, & a 4.7L V8) were made of either 14 or 16 gauge T-304 Stainless Steel, only had 1 that wasn't & was a mild steel(never use 1 made of anything but SS or Titanium!!!). Ever since that header, I vowed I'd only use a Stainless Steel header from then on, lol. It cracked just like the plagued/known to crack factory I-6's exhaust manifolds, it just took about 7K-10K miles more(so not worth the $). Most headers I've seen(like 95%) are stainless steel anyway, and so are many aftermarket cat & axle back exhaust systems.

Answer:	I don't think so. I did a 5'x8' trailer bed, no sides or tailgate, and I used every drop of the 1 gallon can I bought.
Question:	Will this be enough to paint a metal bumper ? Already have it etched
Answer:	yes you can. I just redid the bed of my truck. used Lacquer thinner to prep it, then did 2 new coats on the bed walls and did 2 new coats on the bed. I use this stuff for everything and have found that if you paint over (Rattle cans) it as it tacks up, you get a nice glossy finish that lasts. The UV on the Herculiner isn't that good, But if you paint over it as it tacks it gives it the UV protection it is lacking. Did my sons off-road bumper, rock rails, and the entire interior floor 3 years ago still looks great.
Question:	How many cans would I need to cover a mini van? Body, undercarriage, hubcaps, and floor inside
Answer:	Two different mediums and two different application processes. Line-X is a professional / dealer applied finish... whereas Herculiner is a DIY product. I'm a firm believer that Herculiner is one of, if not, THE best DIY liner products out on the market. Better than Line-X? Maybe not. Best bang for the buck? Yes. Follow the directions and be critical of the prep process. Herculiner will serve you very well and turns out great.

Question:	Doing my hole jeep Cherokee, i was thinking going with the roller since i dont have a compressor! Thought
Answer:	I only sprayed it. Used the Shatz gun for the texture then used a HV gun with the product thinned down to even out the coats. Raptor is awesome. My Jeep turned out great. I would think the roller method would work as well. Just so you know, it doesn’t require a big expensive air compressor.
Question:	When product has dried. What does the finish look like? Does it have a gloss, stain, or matte look to it. Hpw much was used on 1 truck bed
Answer:	I did my whole truck and it used about 4 or 5 bottles so for one truck bed I would guess 2 or 3 to be safe. The finish is flat, but has a slight glossy tone in the sun.
Question:	Does the Spray gun work with with the bottles or do you have to have a compressor
Answer:	what is the CFM at 40 psi requirement to operate this product? I have a Sears 5 hp 30 gallon that claims 9 CFM at 40 psi and 5 CFM at 90 psi. Is that big enough to keep the product flowing through the gun?
Question:	How come i get a better deal ordering two 4 liter kits than ordering one 8 liter kit ? if i order two 4 liter kits, i get 2 guns and for .04 less
Answer:	I wondered the same. Ended up ordering 6 kits and got six guns. The first gun I only had mineral spirits and it didn't clean up well. So I tossed it in the garbage. I then got acetone which worked much better. Now after spraying a couple liters I throw the gun in a bucket of acetone and grab another because the guns start to gum up. I sprayed a 24 foot trailer that I am restoring with three coats of this. Very happy how it turned out. The last order cam with upol shutz guns. So must be the same company (Custom Coat/Upol)
