If you pole is just the Acme thread then all you can do is purchase a thread to press to fit cone (like the Ettore 45005) or plastic equivalent. My Unger pole stripped at one of the twist locks (never have one of those again) & I have a bunch of Unger accessories. I looked for 2 hours for an acme screw to unger. Doesn't exist. So I'm getting the 45005 and going to press it into a Unger NCANR & drill a hole and put a bolt in it. Welcome to our world! 😂

Answer:	You want to mount your license plate to a gooseneck? The license plate frame is probably as deep as 3 plates. I made a Lexan back plate and used spacers to firmly mount the frame and plate to the Lexan. Not sure what you are tying to build. I hope this helps.

Answer:	All metal except for the collar that tightens down. It is made from ABS Plastic and is very tough. I have been using this one as a backpacking shovel for quite a while and have had no problems. My favorite use of this is the Pick that is built into it for breaking up compacted dirt or gravel dirt. It makes shoveling very easy.

Answer:	I would say that it depends on what you are digging in. If it is sand, then this will work just fine.. but if you are looking at hardened dirt, get something better. After hearing about sog, and seeing their video about "field tested and proven", I bought one expecting something decent.. Not great, but decent.. Even though they state "Origin: USA".. That is a lie.. Fact is, the newer ones are made in china, not the USA, like is advertised on the page.. the bolts in the joints that hold it together are about the lowest grade, or cheapest bolts that you can get. Mine were metric grade 4.6 .. that is equal to American grade 2. and the washer is made of soft steel.. It is not hardened. the blade has absolutely no edge (a butter knife is sharper), so digging in anything hard is going to be hard to do. The shovel part is made of a very cheap steel, that has been hardened. It is so cheap, that even after it has been hardened, I can partly bend the shovel end, by hand. I am not trying to talk bad, but just take into consideration what you are going to be digging in, what kind of abuse that you will be giving it, if you are considering buying it. Like I said.. If you are going to be digging in really soft soil, or sand, or something like that.. This will hold up for a long time.. Just dont expect the same results in anything harder. For the record, I have read that the older versions.. ones that are a few years old, were made much much better then these newer, made in china ones. so you may get different reactions from people with older models that were made better.
