| Answer: | i would say no.......and yes.......the platform itself is plenty large, but the stabilizers that pivot up to slide onto the tires will be too narrow. They were too narrow for my mountain 29er which does have fairly fat cross country tires(2.2?). However: i was able to expand these stabilizers wider by bending them open to make them 'fit', and now it works fine. You probably could do the same, although you'll have to widen more than i did. i was able to do it by hand(cuz i only needed a little bit more space) but you might have to exert a little more force for the 2.5s. i feel that it would be possible. |

| Answer: | I have used this with 4 bikes at a time. Alternate the bikes, i.e. handlebars left, handlebars right. That way the seats and handlebars touch, but nothing painted can touch. One modification I made is that the hole for the pin inthe hitch receiver seemed way too close to the end of the tube. This had the rack sticking out about 10" more thannecessary. I drilled new holes (5/8" dia.) further in. It's not absolutely necessary to do this, but I feel it added tothe stability. The rack is very sturdy. We use 4 mountain bikes (heavy) and drive on rough back roads. The tire holders hold the bikes quite firmly in place. They provide a ratchet strap to cinch them down. They stay solidly in place. The rack is a little on the heavy side, but it's made of solid strong steel. |

| Question: | My cross rails are 27" on center, when drilling new holes, do I drill new holes at the front or rear |
| Answer: | By the way you ask your question, I assume your cross rails are not adjustable. You would have to drill at the rear of the carrier, because the carrier starts to bow at the front end only a couple inches past the far front hole. Depending on the contour of your cross rail, you may only have to drill one hole per side, because the mounting holes for each bracket are 4" on center, and the distance from center to center of the mounting brackets is 24", so you are only moving C2C by 3"s. Hope this helps, I would have attached a picture, but see no option for attachments. |

| Answer: | It all depends on the type of roof racks you have. If there not adjustable, it would have to be 22 inches of separation from each other . Or you can also make your own adjustments on the cargo carrier box itself , to make it fit. |
| Question: | What does this do to gas mileage |
| Answer: | It does affect MPG on highway speeds. Simple physics, you have much more drag and faster you go the more it affects MPG. I drove 4,200 miles with it, mostly 70-85 MPH and my Highlander's MPG went from the usual 21-22 MPG down to 18-19 MPG. If you drive at low speeds, up to 45 MPH, there is minimal affect on MPG, I have noticed that as part of my trip was driving in Yellowstone and inside RMNP; you definitely cannot go fast in there. |

| Answer: | There is not a locking mechanism. I haven't thought of a great solution for this other than locking or zip-tying the zippers together. If someone really wants to steal it, there's not much you can do to stop them. However, it would be a little bit of a hassle to do so if it's attached at all 6 tie-down points. It is a fantastic travel device for my family, but I am probably going to build some kind of frame for it so that it stays erect with nothing in it. |

| Answer: | Very water proof. We drove through hours of rain at high speed and had no water in the bag. We are extremely happy with this product. |

| Answer: | The bag does not have a rigid frame. I used two extra large plastic storage containers to put stuff in and then put them in the bag. Good construction. Waterproof. Strong zippers. Very happy with the purchase. |

With the seal pulled back, place one of the 4 included door hooks on the metal doorframe.
Step 3
Applying gentle force, pop the weatherstripping seal back into place with your hand and close the door.

| Answer: | You can fit 2 32 gallon trash cans with room to spare. In those trash cans you can fit at least 6 or 7 stuffed 13-gallon bags in each, which would yield 12-14 bags. Not sure why others wouldn't use pails to maximize capacity. Those bags are so thin I would never want to put them directly in a cargo rack. |
