Answer:	Not really, it would depend on the carpet a really low nap carpet might work for a while, but it would not stay for long if at all.
Question:	How long does the batteries last
Answer:	Sorry, mine is inside. It gets wet from the car's tires when it is wet outside and it is installed on a cold cement floor. I have had no problems with it and would buy one again. I have heard that using an epoxy outside will work, but I have no experience with it outside.

Answer:	It depends upon your use. These are so inexpensive, if you want double protection as a back-up barrier, then buying two isn't an issue. I personally didn't buy these as a stop behind the wheels. Rather, I bought 5, and have used them to divide a double car garage. We share part of this double garage with transient renters in our building (we have vacation rentals within our four flat building). It has made a big difference in serving as a guide to keeping people in their portion of the garage, not impinging upon our section, and making it easy to get in and out.
Question:	How do the "two weighted bases" attach
Answer:	I'm not sure if what I used was epoxy, but I used an industrial sealant on my garage floor. It didn't change the color but it made it look like it was wet and it made sweeping and using a squeegee great. Anyway, I applied 3 of them and they worked and continue to work great 3 years later, but one of them eventually did come lose. This was because the area where I put it, the concrete was uneven so the entire thing wasn't adhered. Anyway, that one stayed put for over a year before it came off and it did not remove any of my sealant.

Answer:	You can see the laser lines before the vehicle's mirrors enter into the garage. You can make adjustments to the position of your car easily into the garage. Question:	T-shaped beam pattern requires both lasers? Otherwise, for use with two cars, each will be only single-line pattern, correct
Answer:	Yes. It is correct. However, on each laser line there are unique marks that can be used to find the car location.
Question:	Can I project a long line on two cars for left/right wall guidance at the garage entry
Answer:	Using on laser with two cars doesn't work good. Your best use of these is if they are directly in front of where you want to go, so one unit per car. You can spread them out so you have two beams per car. Once set up just just follow the line on your dash to keep the car where you want it to be. We love ours, we have one set in front of each car that guide us in and then one set above and between the two cars to create a stop line for each car.
Question:	Is this good for a unheated garage
Answer:	Yes, it should work in an unheated garage. You do need power for it.
Question:	Will this work with tool boxes and benches in front of car
Answer:	It cannot having anything between the sensors and the incoming car. You could mount the sensors to the front of the work bench though.
Question:	Will this accomodate two vehicles
Answer:	No, it’s only for one.
Question:	How long are the two cords from the display unit to the sonar sensors? I need a pretty long distance to overcome a garage obstacle
Answer:	I measured; the cords are 23” from unit to sensors, and the cord from the unit to the plug is 34”. Hope this helps!

It helps you park your car in your garage, Front-to-Back, with precision. It protects valuables from being hit by your vehicle, your vehicle from being hit by the garage door, and allows you to leave walking space around your vehicle. Amazingly simple - drive in and just "line up the lines". If you've gone to far, just back up and line up the lines. Need to park to the left or right for some reason? No problem, just line up the lines. Have seasonal (bikes, snowblowers) or ongoing project situations, use several small nails and move the Park Ranger from location to location and back as necessary.

The Park Ranger is ideally suited for the same driver in the same car with the seat in the same position. Other drivers may have to adjust the alignment of the lines. In three car garages, it may be a bit harder to see the lines from the middle vehicle.

To install, park your car in the desired location Front-To-Back. While in the drivers seat, have an assistant position the Park Ranger on the Side Wall of the garage so the lines align vertically at the driver's eye height. Mark the top hole. Hammer a small nail downward at an angle at the mark (like hanging a picture). Slide on the Park Ranger and make the lines vertical. The next time you drive in, just line up the lines. Alternatively, the Park Ranger can be placed on a shelf or wall with an adhesive strip. Those with metal shelving or cabinets in the mounting location can use a magnet. Answer:	I don't think so. For that, you would need to "break" a beam of light, like garage door safety sensors. This unit "senses" the approach of an object.

Question:	Does the laser have a 360 degree adjustement
Answer:	No it does not; up/down movement is OK (~150 degrees), but side to side is ~90-100 degrees (guesstimates). Wall mount is one of the listed mounting options (in included documentation). I mounted mine high on the wall between 2 cars and could point neither laser where I wanted the laser spot to be on the dashboards (near center). I had to pick a less than optimal place for the laser spot to be when parked. Depending on your situation, I would highly recommend ceiling mount, and if possible, make sure you can point lasers where you want them before permanently mounting.
Question:	There's a "Dual Laser" model, and another model that says "Dual Laser w/LED". What's the difference? What's the LED model

Answer:	in my case ,I will say that about 10 feet ,by the time the garage door open and I started to get in the garage ,the lights started to appear very fast, so 10 feets are probably the range for the motion sensor to be activated.

You receive your Park Right Garage Laser Park, a mounting bracket, mounting hardware, AC adapter, and an instruction manual.

2. How will it help me park?

The laser shows you how far to pull into the garage and where to stop so you don’t hit anything in the garage. As you pull into the garage, you will see the laser travel over your vehicle. When the laser reaches the pre-determined point on your vehicle, you know to stop.

3. Can I put my Park Right Garage Laser Park anywhere?

If you have the Park Right Garage Laser Park with one laser, the device needs to be placed in line with your garage door and with the motion sensor facing the garage door. Be sure that raising the garage door will not block the laser or the motion sensor. The motion sensor is the small, cloudy half-globe on the front of the unit that is directly in front of the laser. The Park Right Garage Laser Park also needs to be within range of a power outlet so it can be plugged in.

If you have the Park Right Garage Laser Park with two lasers, you can place the device where it is most useful for both vehicles. The lasers can be adjusted in any direction. Be sure the Park Right Garage Laser Park is within range of a power outlet and the motion sensor can sense your vehicle. The motion sensor is the small, cloudy half-globe on the front of the unit halfway between the lasers.

4. How long are the power cords on the AC adapters?

The power cords on the AC adapters for the Park Right Garage Laser Park devices with one laser are 9 feet long. The power cords on the AC adapters for the Park Right Garage Laser Park devices with two lasers are 6.5 feet long.

5. What if the power cord isn’t long enough to suit my needs?

Many garage door motors have an outlet you can use which will allow you to place the Park Right Garage Laser Park nearby. If you do not have a garage door opener or an electrical outlet near where you would like to position your Park Right Garage Laser Park, you can use any extension cord to bring power to your device.

6. Can I use battery power instead of the AC adapter as the main source of power?

No. Battery power is only meant as a back-up power supply and is not intended to provide long-term power. The AC power adapter should be used as the main source of power.

7. What type of batteries do the Park Right Garage Laser Parks use and how long do the batteries last?

The Park Right Garage Laser Parks with one laser have a battery compartment for one 9V battery. The Park Right Garage Laser Parks with two lasers have a battery compartment for three AA batteries. Battery power should provide power for around one week, depending on usage. Battery power is for back-up in case of a power outage and should not be used as a main source of power.

8. What is the sensitivity of the motion sensor? Can the sensor be adjusted?

The motion sensor has a range of 15 feet and will detect any motion from warm objects (people, cars, animals) within this range. The motion sensor is not adjustable.

9. How long will the laser stay on?

When you first connect power to the Park Right Garage Laser Park, the laser will turn on as a test that will last roughly 30 seconds. After that, the laser will be triggered by motion and will stay on as long as motion is detected. The laser will turn off roughly 15 seconds after the device stops detecting motion.

10. Will the laser stay on all the time?

No. The Park Right Garage Laser Park is motion-activated only. The laser will stay on as long as the device has power and detects motion.

11. What locations on my vehicle are good to use as a guide or target for the laser?

You can use multiple locations on your vehicle as a guide or target for the laser. You can use a hood ornament if you have one, the top or the edge of the dashboard, or any other feature on the vehicle you are able to see.

12. Are the lasers used in these products safe? What class are the lasers?

The lasers in all of the Park Right Garage Laser Parks are Class IIIA (or 3A) lasers. You should never look directly at any type of laser or shine them in your eyes. However if you accidentally look directly at the laser, the human aversion reflex should involuntarily cause you to look away before the laser has enough time to cause any damage. MAXSA Innovations has been selling this product for over a decade and has not had one case of these lasers causing harm.

13. How far will the laser beams reach?

Laser beams are highly concentrated beams of light that will persist for long distances and are more than capable of reaching anywhere in your garage or carport.

14. Will the Park Right Garage Laser Parks work outside the United States?

The Park Right Garage Laser Park devices work in any country that uses a 110V - 120V, 60Hz AC power source and A/B Plug Type. Otherwise you will need a power adapter. Be sure to check the electrical power standards of any country you visit if you plan to use an electrical device designed for US electrical power standards.
