Answer:	I spray this to clean polished aluminum car and truck wheels. It's easy to spray on and hose off brake dust and road grime. They always clean up well. Should work on your polished aluminum boat pontoons as well. The spray on chrome wheel cleaner may be too harsh and leave streaks and spots on the aluminum finish.

Answer:	This is an industry trend as even though a particular wheel cleaner formula like this would be safe for common uncoated/polished motorcycle wheels (the cleaner doesn't care if the aluminum is attached to a motorcycle or a car), but the close proximity of finishes on which a particular formula might have a negative reaction are much greater on a motorcycle -- zinc or cadmium plated hardware, lines, anodized finishes, engine cases, etc. -- there's just a lot going on near a wheel on a motorcycle that have delicate or exotic finishes. So to avoid an unexpected and negative result, on all of our wheel cleaner products we make this precautionary statement.

Answer:	Regardless of what it says, I never do the job soon enough to not scrub. I use a tool that is a plastic handle with a 2 inch diameter cotton ball on the end (like a big Q-tip). I use that for the part of the wheel you can see. I have a bendable brush the is semi-soft to get behind the spokes and really clean for my best car. I use the curved Mother's tire brush for the tires. Be sure to start with a cool wheel the is dry. I do the wheels before washing the vehicle. Hope this is helpful to you.

Question:	Can you use on windows
Answer:	Yes, this product is very effective and doesn't harm the painted wheels or anodized surfaces, but a proper acid-resistant spray bottle is necessary, as is a rat tail brush and pail of soapy water to agitate and rinse off the acid solution and released brake dust. The first spray bottles I purchased "Chemical Guys ACC_121.16HD-3PK Chemical Resistant Heavy Duty Bottle and Sprayer (16 oz) (Pack of 3)" all failed to work after their first usage. I replaced them with "3 Pack 32oz. SprayMaster Heavy Duty Spray Bottles", which are holding up. The rat tail brush is "17 Inch Wite Wheel Spoke Brush Large" Keep dipping it into the soapy water and it will help remove what the acid softens. A mild brush on the outside of the wheels will suffice. I checked the MSDS and the active ingredients are phosphoric acid and citric acid, which are safer than hydrochloric or hydrofluoric acids. If the wheels are extremely coated with brake dust, then they might not become completely clean until the second cleaning. After that, once every few weeks should suffice.

Answer:	I don 't know if this is safe on your wheels but I do know that it's not very effective to begin with when using the suggested strength. It may seem inexpensive due to being diluted 3-1 or 4-1 but it isn't worth your money. It did a poor job removing brake dust and road grime from my clear coat wheels and was just as ineffective at cleaning tires. Caveat emptor, let the buyer beware.

Question:	Can I use this on plastic dip rims
Answer:	Imho, the power washer probably is doing most of the cleaning. I used this on my motorcycle wheels, my aftermarket wheels on my Toyota Tacoma, oem wheels on my girl's Audi SUV and none of them came clean when following the instructions and a garden hose. Simple green works as good or better and it is better for the environment and hoses off easily.

Answer:	I have used this product to remove BMW brake dust, which, as you likely know, can be black, thick and gritty. You spray this stuff on (I have a BMW 325xi), it turns color in about 5-7 minutes. Then give it a gentle brushing with a nylon-bristle brush, and hose it off. Done. The other wheel cleaners I have tried are a joke compare to this stuff, but it's relatively expensive. I can't tell you whether it would remove rust, although I doubt it.
Question:	Can you spray this onto a BMW 328i's wheel hubs to remove rust? I would, of course us a brush to actually scrub residue off... but is it safe
Answer:	In my experience, not many. I have 22" wheels and one bottle can do maybe 8 wheel treatments. So, for 16-17", maybe 12 treatments? Stuff is expensive but it works like magic & worth the cost.

Instructions:

1. Use on a cool dry wheel in a well ventilated area.
2. Spray on Sonax Wheel Cleaner Full Effect holding bottle 6-8 inches from the wheel surface. Full Effect sprays on fluorescent yellow.
3. As Full Effect emulsifies stubborn baked on brake dust and dirt, it changes from yellow to red.
4. Exceptionally dirty wheels may require agitation.
5. Allow the product to work for up to 10 minutes. If product dries, simply re-apply.
6. Rinse your wheels, preferably with high pressure water.

Answer:	That really is not appropriate. Sadly oxidation happens although most fixes are temporary you may find a better result with Meguiar's Ultimate black. I've tried a lot from shoe dye to sealants. I think this is a pretty good product!
Question:	Does this work on the trim around my widows? I have an audi a6 and the trim is always cloudy. I use wd40 but it is only short lived

Answer:	This stuff was real gentle on my paint and wheels. I would say since this is clear coat safe, it is safe for plasti dip. It reacts with iron particles. The grime it loosened up was easily wiped away by my finger so you don't need to even scrub, which could damage your plasti dip.

Answer:	This product is a fine polish. A good wash first and then if there is rust and grime you may be best very fine bronze wool, you could try steel wool 00000 0 but it will eventually haze theChrome. When that is clean then use polish. This is a premium metal polish
