| Answer: | I had the 50010 for 8 years, and just purchased the 50020 today after the other person living in my house dropped and broke it. The differences I see are: The 020 has way better smooth rolling wheels, my 010 was noisy on hardwoods, this one feels padded and it quiet and rolls much better. The 020 also has covered rear wheels where as 010 are exposed. The 020 has a black color scheme the 010 is silver. The 020 has a slightly larger canister/dust bin, but I think this might be in width as I believe the old canister fits. Canister on 020 is smoke colored, on 010 it is clear. You can see content easilt on both. Interior canister plastic dust filter on 020 is clear, on 010 its red they apear the same dimensions and are interchangeable, however the fit of this in connection is tighter on the 020. My 010 was old and mucky, but I believe the 020 has better picking up off the side like when I clean at a floorboard. I also feel relatively confident that it possibly has a slightly better battery life, although both use same battery. Both use same filter and filter holder, same power switch scheme, same method of attaching / detaching head, assembly (one screw to attach handle to body), and both have a visible battery meter in the same location. The 020 of course is the updated version. My local box store only had this one in stock. |

| Answer: | Currently I have not used any accessories. I just use it as a floor vacuum, so I had to go looking for the accessories that came with it. I may not have found every single one that came with it, but I think I did, so the short answer: it comes with at least 5 attachments and a floor caddy. They are as follows: Dusting Brush (1185FC500), 12 inch Crevice Tool (X11FC500), Large Power Brush (X13FC500), Multi-Angle Dusting Brush (X15FC500), Straight Suction Floor Nozzle (XSN500), and finally the Canister Caddy (X16FC500). | Answer: | That's difficult to answer as it's all relative. It seems light to me, but it might not to you. It weighs in at about 1 lb more than the comparable Dyson, so some might say its heavy. I don't pick mine up a whole lot, so 1 lb isn't a deal breaker for me. It weighs about 15 lbs. Your call on if that's light or heavy. |

| Answer: | We don't have this model, but do have a similar (cheaper) Navigator Lift-away model that recommends cleaning the filter every 3 months. We use it to vacuum a small professional office and an 1800-square foot home once a week. I clean the filter in warm water every 1-2 weeks as the foam one, especially, gets very dirty/dusty. It doesn't take long, but they do have to dry before next use so I usually do it the night before I vacuum, absorb excess water on a towel-rag, then leave to dry overnight. I'd rather wash it than tap it out as another user suggested because the I don't want the dust to fly everywhere after I went to the trouble of vacuuming. The HEPA filter to be cleaned every 12 months takes a lot longer to dry (few days) but that's ok since we clean it so rarely. |
