Answer:	I dope it and screw it in. All sealants (pipe dope) and even Teflon tape is only for a thread lubricant so you can get more turns on something not for sealing.

Consider drilling a small hole in the hex-head of the bolts give trouble and using tag wire through the bolt heads to the next one to it. Another idea brass bolt with internal/external lock washer,drawback plastic will not be better off when taking it appart. Can you pop rivet the parts together? disassembly is with the same size drill bit as the rivet is.Backup washers are available that wold help the plastic survive.

Answer:	Depends on how much pressure there is. I know if you put it on a airhose fitting and then pressurize it right away, it won't hold and start to push it out of the threads. I think it takes 24hrs to setup fully.

Question:	Will this work in combination with a fuel pump gasket
Answer:	I used it to seal a plastic spout to a mounting ring for a 5 gallon gas can. The spout came from another gas can and I cut it to size. Unfortunately it wouldn't seal, until I added a bead between the two components. I let it dry for about a week when it hardened. It's worked for at least 2 years without any leaks. Good stuff!

Answer:	Michael, I really don't know, but I doubt it. This is not a hardening substance like JB weld. It stays flexible so that parts can be taken back apart again if needed. I would think that just covering the crack in your quick connect line would not be effective. I have only used this product one time so I'm not the voice of experience. My application was to seal between a motorcycle fuel tank and the gasket of the petcock and around the hold down bolts. So far no leaks. However, mechanically for your issue, this does not seem like the proper application as it would not fortify the crack. For the cost of this tube you could source another quick connect. Answer:	I applied to fittings before plugging it in, therefore, there was no hydraulic oil on the threads. You can disconnect the fitting (if that's the case) and clean it with acetone. I will recommend using the Permatex 24163 Surface Prep Activator for Anaerobics, 4.5 oz. or it will take a long time to dry.

Answer:	It is designed for sealing the threads on high pressure hydraulic and pneumatic lines, so it should do the job.

Answer:	It takes a little elbow grease, but they can be removed for maintenance. You will notice that the residue is a bit thicker and more "solid" than you have come to expect from thread blockers, etc., but that just gives you an idea of how this fills all of the gaps so there are no leaks.

Answer:	Yes - gas would eat it, the only thing that will fix a gas line is a new one....

Answer:	I used it to seal up an exhaust pipe joint on my car, which is very different from roofing, but my point is this is very sticky, durable stuff. I don't think it would stick very well to the small rocks on the up-side of a shingle (it would end up pulling them off if allowed to dry and then movement occurs), but for stopping leaks down below the shingles, I would think it might be a good choice. Might be a bit expensive compared to other sealants you could possibly use, though.

Answer:	80psi is pretty light pressure when it comes to engines and oil doesn’t get very hot unless there are extreme problems... almost any gasket sealer should work well. Most of these sealers are made strong enough to hold and seal the head gaskets which is many folds more pressure than any of the internal fluids.

Answer:	Actually, I used it and had to remove my head gasket six months after, not because of this stuff though. The gasket came off no problem. I don’t know if this stuff really does anything though. As long as your head and block are surfaced properly, you shouldn’t need it.

Answer:	There is no single answer. The use of this sealant depends on the type of gasket you are working with. If you have solid copper gasket or a metal clad composite (say... copper foil skin sandwiching a fiber core) then yes it would work on those gaskets. If you have a composite fiber gasket with fire rings and no coating then again... it would work. If your gasket is of fiber construction and has a shiny coating on it that looks like varnish... don't use this spray without referring to the literature supplied with the gasket. Many modern gaskets come with a pre-applied sealant coating so you don't want to add additional (and possibly incompatible) sealant spray. Sorry, but as I said, it really depends on the type of gasket you are working with.

Answer:	If you are using it as an adhesive, It should hold the refrigerator gasket. It will not work as a gasket... unless you do not want to open the door ... I use it as a flexible glue type substance and/or sealant.

Answer:	I find this to be a very interesting question. I cannot however, say for certain but, once it is fully cured it doesn't seem tacky at all so I would have to think it would work. Your freezer is going to be down for some time though as you would have to leave the door open till fully cured. Make sure you build the bead up to be even with your gasket on the first try. What do you have to loose other than a couple bucks versus a new gasket or new freezer. I would certainly try it.
