Answer:	I can’t say for sure but this is the best stuff I’ve found. I use it primary for my shower glass doors; all the automotive use has been easy in comparison to he normal wear and tear of soap scum in a shower.

Answer:	To my knowledge it's just a glass cleaner, never tried it on painted surfaces. If wiped off with a soft cloth before drying I can't see it do much damage to the painted surface other than cleaning but continued use might affect the clear coat and as far as it having a protective benefit I am not sure you will find it using this product. I would advise use this only for glass and use other suitable products made for cleaning/protecting painted automotive surfaces.

Answer:	Ms. Handy: I've been using this product more than 10 years now, and I believe all you are looking at is a difference in labeling/description. The "cleaner and restorer" used to be the name for the original product and it was in a slightly different shaped spray bottle. I purchased the "cleaner, conditioner, and protector" here on Amazon and also through Sportsmans Guide through BoatSavings.com, and it is the same. While it is a great product, it cannot actually "restore" color fading due to sun bleaching of vinyl, so 3M's attorney's were probably encouraging the marketing guys to modify the name so as not to unintentionally mislead. Best product of it's type I have ever used, especially consisdering price and convenience of a one-shot application with a damp terry cloth wash rag.

Before I'd use it as a spray, I'd try it on a small spot; perhaps with a cue tip to test for discoloration . It didn't change the color of our carpet, but a mattress is a different type of fabric. It sure cleans spots on a carpet, though. Excellent product.

Answer:	The product removes greasy food stains well. Take a look at Wikipedia's article on Scotchguard, however; this is NOT a product that - even after its 2009 re-formulation - one would want next to ones body. There are an abundance of safer products that are both safe and effective at removing these stains. And most cost considerably less than this carpet cleaner.

Answer:	Yes. I purchased a small piece of convertible roof fabric on ebay which matched my convertible's black top and I cut it to fit the lower part below therear window with about a one inch overlap onto the window. I followed the adhesive directions and glued the new material right onto the window andthe old convertible fabric. I let it sit for 48 hours. Today, you can hardly notice it was repaired and the adhesive still adheres to the glass.

Answer:	NO. If it damaged the paint it would not be useable OVER paint. As to it being difficult to pump? = its important to heat the tube to 140 F. Its way to viscous to pump cold.

Answer:	It takes 48 hours to cure. You have 5 to 10 min before you can't adjust window anymore. Side note. Urathan will stain anything it touches even your skin. So be very careful and don't use more than you need to.

Answer:	Small scratches only. Worked well on my golf cart windshield

Answer:	This stuff is basically petroleum based solvent (plastic solvent) and aluminum oxide powder (stuff they make sandpaper out of). So really only the powder is getting the scratch out. Look for a glass polishing agent if you try that.

Answer:	Sometimes, depending on the make and material, when products are applied to surfaces like an instrument cluster visor or a clock visor, the product will bleed through. I has seen this in the past. For example, my friend once over sprayed black magic onto the radio and it bled through the visor. It would not come out unless replaced. Try on a small area or used visor first.

Answer:	I have only tried it on headlights for numerous vehicles and it works great. Turned yellowed Honda headlights clear again. I would imagine it should but would try it on a small spot first.

Answer:	If they are spots left behind from the wash and not by damage to the glass, my guess is it will do the job. I found a few videos about the product on YouTube before I purchased it. My suggestion would be to use one microfiber towel to apply the cleaner and another clean one to buff it dry. I first tried using regular paper towels, which had meh results. After I figured it out, my windows were crystal clear like they promised on the bottle. I was amazed at the results.
Question:	does this remove hard water spots from winshield
Answer:	Yes, mild water deposits will clear away with Perfect Clarity, but in my experience, it's no better than Windex. If you have hard water spots on the windshield, and have just a bit of patience, you can save yourself a lot of money with this trick that's worked for me many times...use a lemon. Juice a lemon, dip a soft absorbent cloth such as a Handi Wipe and liberally cover the spots on the glass. Use a mild pot scrubber (the plastic ones, don't use the severely abrasive pads such as Brillo), then use a bit of mild elbow grease; after a few minutes, rinse it off. It may take a couple of applications, but it will work, and it will only cost about 50 cents. You can also use a strong vinegar (white is usually best), but it tends to stink. I detail cars a lot, and have used a great number of products in the past and have now narrowed it down to just two things. The number 1 product for getting crystal clear windows (for mildly dirty glass/ regular cleaning) is distilled water. (It takes a little extra effort to dry the glass, but it works very well). I use it exclusively to wash cars because it leaves no build up, deposits, or residue of any kind. The second one is a glass cleaner called Invisible Glass, it's awesome. It's available at almost every retail store such as Target, Walmart, etc. doesn't streak, comes in foam or liquid spray, and costs about $3. Question:	can i use it as a fog remover inside of my car
Answer:	To clean the "foggy looking" film, yes. To prevent them from fogging up, no. Its a glass cleaner, but not an anti- moisture coating. But, with that film removed, they dont fog up as easily.

Answer:	Some states prohibit some products due to the chemicals in the product. You can go to another state and buy it, but that can be a pain.
Question:	Will it clean black streaks off of a trailer
Answer:	I suggest washing the trailer with a stronger wash soap like Purple Power Heavy Duty Vehicle and Boat Wash first. Then try some polish and see if that will remove the streaks if the car wash does not work. I am not sure that Citrol 266 will work on the black streaks.

Answer:	it will glue glass to most other materials. order 3M 08682 Single Step Primer also it preps the glass. this is use to glue glass to glass rage tops on cars. (wear gloves)
Question:	Will this product work with putting the side window in the track
Answer:	It is a permanent bond. If the windows slide up and down, I don't think is what you want.
Question:	Does it come with a nozzle
Answer:	NO. Mines did not come with a nozzle. So I had to buy my own. Sucks.
