Answer:	The Dirt Trap fits snugly in any standard 12’’ diameter bucket; product measures 10 5/16 inches in diameter.
Question:	Does it work better than a traditional grit guard
Answer:	The dirttrap has these cyclones in the bottom that help "pull" the dirt and debris below the dirttap itself. Because of its shape, dirt cannot force its way up through the cyclone and back into the regular water. A normal grit guard, however is shaped like a sewer grate, where everything is sort of free-flowing and stuff can land on your mitt even though you wiped it on the grit guard.
Question:	What is the actual measurement? it seems that this is made for chemical guys $15 bucket only. some buckets are narrower at the bottom too
Answer:	It does not go all the way down to the bottom of the orange Home Depot bucket nor the green Menards bucket. It fits snugly about 2 inches from the bottom. It works like this but is difficult to remove from the bucket.

Answer:	This grit guard was made specifically for Chemical Guy's 4.5 gallon bucket. It will not fit a home store 5 gallon bucket perfectly (it will stop about and inch or more from the bottom and if you push it in hard it will be challenging to remove). I found the best bucket for this is an empty drywall mud bucket, which is 4.5 gallons and the same size as Chemical Guy's buckets. You can buy a 4.5 gallon bucket of drywall mud from a home store for about $12.00 vs. Chemical Guy's $17.00 empty bucket.

Answer:	I guess technically you could, if you made sure the bucket was completely spotless and clean before doing so. But that's just extra work and a risk to your paint which is why most proffeaional detailers have a wheels-only bucket. Less hassle of cleaning it out and less risk.

Answer:	The top shelf is metal, and has a removable rubber liner. Having used these for a number of years, I would definitely put some sort of heat resistant mat on the top if you have a heat press on it; we had a popcorn popper on an older one, and the paint blistered.

Answer:	This stuff will work after you get the largest accumulation of dirt and tar off. It's designed to be used on a smooth fine surface to shine the vehicle's finish. You may need a tar remover first, such as kerosene or a fine polishing compound.

Answer:	Clay bars do not take paint scratches off. They take off impurities above the paint surface. A scratch is in/below the surface. To remove those you will need cutting, polishing agents based on how deep the scratch is into the surface.
Question:	Do I use this first to clean off dirt etc, and then follow up with Clean slate to remove the wax
Answer:	The color of the car is not as important. The important thing is the amount of time in which its been since you last clay barred the car. If it is within a year, you can use the blue light clay bar. Over a year then the yellow. Over 2 years, the medium, and then the black clay bar is the heavy duty. It is best to use the medium or lighter clay bar before the black clay bar because you could end up damaging the paint if you go to heavy.
Question:	What's the difference between Mr. Pink and this
Answer:	As the name states, each color or density of the clay is different for specified jobs. Light for light contamination, medium for medium contamination and heavy for heavy contamination. The heavier the clay the more of chance there is for you to marr and damage the paint. For optimal use of the clay bar, any bar medium and above should be followed by a Polish as to remove marring and scratching left by the clay bar. Clay bars are abrasive no matter how lubrication you use and will almost always leave behind micro scratching. Hope this helps.

Answer:	The Honeydew Snow Foam by Chemical Guys is the recommended product. I tried both today, the snow foam was by far the best at making suds. I only had to use setting 3 and still got more than the Mr. Pink did. You can use any car soap though, if you wanna do it on the cheap.

Answer:	You don't need a quick connect to operate the Foam Blaster. Simpy remove the quick connect adapter and screw into your garden hose. If you already have a quick connect on your garden hose then you can use the included fitting.

Answer:	Foam is used as a pre-treatment before normal car washing to loosen the dirt and grime on the car's surface. It is not meant to completely clean the car although the foam does remove some of the dirt and grime. Loosing the dirt before washing is very important to maintain a shiny/glossy finish on the car with no scratches. Washing a dirty car without foaming it first increases the probability of scratching the surface even with a microfibre mitt because you have to rub too hard to remove the dirt. In most cases, the foam loosens the dirt so effectively that just hosing the car off will clean it. The ultimate car wash would be touchless and the foam helps to achieve that which is why touchless automatic drive-through car washes use the same technique. Regarding the foam blaster, the foam is bought as a thick liquid in a bottle. After pouring the liquid into the foam blaster and connecting it to a hose, the foam blaster automatically mixes the liquid with the right amount of water to create the foam. The foam coming out of the foam blaster is applied all over the car to form a foam blanket.

Answer:	Mine separates when it sits on the shelf between washes. Just shake it up really well before use. I wouldn’t worry about the seal.

Answer:	I have only used this product on my cars and it works great. After rinsing and drying, this product provides a nice glossy finish on the paint. This should work well on most painted surfaces.

Answer:	no, you need a foam cannon. if you want a sprayer application for foam. A foam cannon is used with a pressure washer only. and to be effective to make good bubbles you need a 2000psi pressure washer minimum. a pressure washer from 2000psi to 2299psi u need to replace the orifice in the foam cannon to a 1:1 orifice to have that super foam stick foam. if you have the standard orifice in your foam cannon and have a pressure washer under 2300psi then the pressure will not be great enough and your foam will be more watery and will not stick to the car but look runny. if you have a pressure washer 2300 or greater you can use higher ratio orifices or if your foam cannon is equipped iwth standard orifice it would work on a 2300 or higher. You can usually tell when you look at the specs of a foam cannon and it says like up to 2300 psi pressure washer to be used that will tell you it's the larger orifices. The thicker the foam the better it will lift loose dirt to be washed away. i know it's alot of info but hope it helps. I had a 2000psi washer and just replaced the orifice with a 1:1 orifice and it works wonders. The orifices on the foam cannons are super easy to replace there are youtube videso to show u how. and can buy the orifices like the 1:1 if you have the 2000psi pressure washers can be bought here on amazon.

Answer:	Hello, Robert. I'm gonna take a shot at answering for you. I am an aircraft mechanic who owns an aircraft detailing business called AeroDyne Detail. I have used several Chemical Guys wash products on the aircraft I detail. I have used it on aluminum and composite crafts. There is also a lot of bare aluminum and stainless steel on these planes. The wing tip caps and vertical stab caps are usually fiberglass. I have had no issues. If you check the actual Chemical Guys site, you will find that it is pH balanced, which should alleviate most of your concerns. Additionally, most things worth washing with this product have a paint finish or gel coat, so you're really not getting down to a bare surface most of the time. I am in Florida, which is a particularly corrosive environment with the salt air and over the last year I have seen no issues using this product.
