There are two types of structural bonding that can be done with epoxy.

TWO-STEP BONDING is the preferred method for most situations because it promotes maximum epoxy penetration into the bonding surface and prevents epoxy-starved joints.

SINGLE-STEP BONDING is appropriate when joints will have minimal loads and excess epoxy absorption into porous surfaces is not a problem. In both cases, epoxy bonds best when it is worked into the surface with a roller or brush.

Coating, Laminating & Clear Finishing

COATING AND LAMINATING are popular uses of WEST SYSTEM Epoxy. Epoxy wets out fiberglass cloth, protecting the substrate while letting its beauty shine through. We recommend WEST SYSTEM 105 Resin with blush-free, water-clear 207 Special Clear Hardener for bright finishes and clear coats.

COATING involves rolling the epoxy onto a surface with a foam roller, applying it with a brush, or spreading the epoxy over the surfaces with a plastic spreader. .

There are two methods for laminating with fiberglass and epoxy.

THE DRY METHOD refers to placing the cloth over a dry surface, wetting the cloth with epoxy and spreading the epoxy over the cloth, smoothing it as you go.

THE WET METHOD involves applying the cloth to an epoxy-coated surface after the wet-out coat becomes tacky, which helps it cling to vertical or overhead surfaces. This method makes it more difficult to position the cloth, so the dry method is the preferred, especially when using with thinner cloth.

Clear Casting & Pouring

CASTING AND POURING are best done with WEST SYSTEM 105 Resin and 207 Special Clear Hardener.

AVOIDING UNCONTROLLED EXOTHERM is important, as this heat reaction can quickly spoil the casting.

Epoxy cures by exothermic (heat) reaction. That heat must be kept under control when when creating a thick casting (greater than ¼”). For thick castings, add epoxy in multiple layers . When the first pour is tacky like the back of masking tape, a second pour can be made. When the epoxy cures enough to become tacky, it means the previous layer has begun to cool down and will not contribute heat to the next layer. Adding another layer at this stage allows you to skip any surface prep.

If the poured epoxy casting cures past the tacky stage, allow the epoxy to finish curing then sand ot dull and clean the surface before applying the next epoxy layer. This will ensure good adhesion between layers.

Answer:	This product is sold more as a protectant than a cleaner. I would suggest using something else to clean the chairs and then use this to protect them.

Answer:	This product has polydimethylsiloxane, which is silicone oil. Silicones are not a concern for most rubber products. Older car care products had petroleum distillates which were more of a concern. This is water based.

Answer:	I have used this on the upholstery on various boats for the last 10 years. i found it much better than Armor All or 3M 303. It leaves a slight sheen and none of that greasy feeling, while leaving the boat upholstery with a very soft feel to it. I often do multiple coats the same day without a problem and it does not have the "gummy" residue that some of the other products leave. Highly recommended!

Question:	Do these bandages contain latex
Answer:	Hi. I just looked. There are gauze pads so they don't, but there are also two types of bandaids. One says fabric bandage and the other says adhesive bandage. I am going to say that the adhesive one does contain latex because it doesn't say latex free. I looked in the instruction booklet and it doesn't give any information. If you are looking for latex free I don't think this is the kit for you. I hope this helped.

Answer:	Mine came with the hose trigger/sprayer which quick connects to the dispenser and can be removed to use like a regular garden nozzle. It comes with everything you see in the picture.

Answer:	The Honeydew Snow Foam by Chemical Guys is the recommended product. I tried both today, the snow foam was by far the best at making suds. I only had to use setting 3 and still got more than the Mr. Pink did. You can use any car soap though, if you wanna do it on the cheap.
Question:	How do I connect this to my garden hose? The mount doesn't seem to match
Answer:	You don't need a quick connect to operate the Foam Blaster. Simpy remove the quick connect adapter and screw into your garden hose. If you already have a quick connect on your garden hose then you can use the included fitting.
Question:	What will the foam do to my car? Will it clean it or what's the point of a foam blaster
Answer:	Foam is used as a pre-treatment before normal car washing to loosen the dirt and grime on the car's surface. It is not meant to completely clean the car although the foam does remove some of the dirt and grime. Loosing the dirt before washing is very important to maintain a shiny/glossy finish on the car with no scratches. Washing a dirty car without foaming it first increases the probability of scratching the surface even with a microfibre mitt because you have to rub too hard to remove the dirt. In most cases, the foam loosens the dirt so effectively that just hosing the car off will clean it. The ultimate car wash would be touchless and the foam helps to achieve that which is why touchless automatic drive-through car washes use the same technique. Regarding the foam blaster, the foam is bought as a thick liquid in a bottle. After pouring the liquid into the foam blaster and connecting it to a hose, the foam blaster automatically mixes the liquid with the right amount of water to create the foam. The foam coming out of the foam blaster is applied all over the car to form a foam blanket.

Adam's Foam Gun is constructed with high quality chemical resistant polythene plastic to resist cracking & fading. This 32oz canister comes equipped with a spray nozzle with a quick-connect handle to produce thick sudsy foam for car washing. Most importantly, you don't need a pressure wash because it works with a standard garden hose!

Customize Your Foam

The Adam's Stand Foam Gun comes with three different metering tips, which affect the flow rate of how fast the soap solution is pulled out of the canister and onto the vehicle. We recommend starting out with the Yellow metering tip and then adjusting to the blue or green metering tip for your specific water supply. You can also run the Foam Gun without any metering tip installed. Using the Foam Gun without a metering tip will create a large amount of foam, but it will also run through the canister much more quickly - depending on the size of the vehicle, you may need to refill the canister with more Car Shampoo and water before sudsing down the entire vehicle.

A Cost Effective Way To Wash Your Car With Foamy Wash Soap!

Adam's New Standard Foam Gun is another option for foaming down your vehicle prior to a proper Two Bucket Wash routine. Here at Adam's Polishes, we listen to customer feedback as much as possible, and we've had more than a few requests for a less expensive Foam Gun option than our Adam's Premium 32oz Foam Gun. Adam's New Standard Foam Gun is a more cost-effective but still efficient way to foam down your vehicle with Adam's Car Shampoo without the use of a pressure washer.

Fill

1. Fill the 32oz Foam Gun canister about 3/4 full with water.
2. Pour 2-3oz of Adam's Car Shampoo into the canister.
3. Insert the appropriate metering tip into the bottom of the Foam Gun Barrel.*
4. Attach the clear fill tube to the barrel.
5. Thread the barrel lid onto the canister.

Connect

1. With the water supply off, connect the spray nozzle to the end of your garden hose.
2. Pull back on the plastic quick-release of the spray nozzle, and insert the Foam Gun barrel until it locks in place.

Foam

Turn on the water supply, then squeeze the spray nozzle handle to lay a thick layer of foam onto the vehicle.

Deciding between a Foam Cannon and a Foam Gun can be a tough decision for some of our customers, but it will come down to a few things. Do you have a pressure washer? If not, and you aren’t thinking of purchasing one in the future, then the Foam Gun is what will work best for your situation. If you do have a pressure washer and don’t mind a little extra setup time each wash, then the Foam Cannon is going to perform best and offer the most amount of safety when washing. Either option is better than none though, so you can’t go wrong with either a Foam Cannon or a Foam Gun!

Differences: Premium Foam Gun vs. Standard Foam Gun

There is one key difference between the Adam’s Premium Foam Gun and the Adam’s Standard Foam Gun – how they are constructed. The Premium Foam Gun uses stainless steel fittings, hardware, and a stainless quick-connect coupler on the spray nozzle, made in the USA. It is the more rugged option of the two Foam Guns, and the quality and design reflect the higher cost of the unit. The Adam’s Standard Foam Gun is a plastic construction with a plastic quick-connect coupler. It is considerably more affordable, but it can also be easier to break from an accidental drop, so be sure to exercise caution during use and storage.
