• Shake all products well.
• Work on a clean, cool surface in the shade.
• It’s important to mount the Scratch Eraser Pad onto your drill following the manufacturer’s directions. Make sure that the pad is mounted securely.
• Always use both hands to hold and guide the drill, keeping the pad flat on the paint.
• Always keep the pad and drill moving. Allowing the pad to remain in one place can overheat the paint and cause damage.
• Apply a small amount of ScratchX 2.0 to the pad in an X pattern.
• Place the pad flat on the scratch. Use medium speed and make 4-6 overlapping passes. Repeat as needed until the defect is not noticeable.

Meguiar’s C2100 Mirror Glaze Aggressive Professional Detailing Clay safely and easily removes stubborn bonded contaminants in preparation for polishing and waxing a vehicle. If you run your hand over the paint after washing and drying and it feels rough to the touch this indicates you have contaminates bonded on top of your paint. This Aggressive Professional Detailing Clay is completely non-abrasive, comes with 200 grams of clay, and comes in a reusable container to keep the clay fresh.

Ideal for use with Meguiar’s M34 Mirror Glaze Final Inspection or Meguiar’s D155 Last Touch Spray Detailer diluted 1:1 as lubricant. Quickly and gently remove stubborn overspray, bug debris, tree sap mist, road tar and other surface contaminants while restoring a “smooth as glass” finish. Safe and effective on clear coat and single stage paint and can also be used on other surfaces such as glass, metal and smooth plastic surfaces.

How to use Meguiar’s detailing clay

• After determining that a clay bar system is needed, wash your car with a pH balanced car wash like Meguiar’s Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo & Conditioner.
• Break off a piece of clay and flatten it out into a palm-sized piece.
• Mist Meguiar’s M34 Mirror Glaze Final Inspection liberally on a section of your car’s paint. This will allow for the clay bar to glide smoothly across the paint.
• Lay the flattened clay bar onto the paint and work it over the sprayed section with light pressure in a back and forth motion. As you work, you’ll begin to feel the difference immediately.
• After completing a section, wipe off the extra Final Inspection with a premium microfiber towel like Meguiar’s Supreme Shine Microfiber Towels. Continue working in sections like this over the painted surfaces. Be sure to fold and knead the clay onto itself ever few sections to freshen it.
• Then, be sure to remove below surface defects and polish as needed prior to applying wax.

Answer:	The C2100 Aggressive clay (red) is very aggressive and will very likely haze the paint to some degree. It is generally intended for high volume shops, or for heavily contaminated vehicles, where machine polishing after use is already a given. Unless you fit into either of these categories you're better off staying with the C2000 Mild.

Specialized polishing oils restore brilliance and a rich, glossy appearance to dull paint finishes. Clear Coat Safe Polishing Compound is a cleaner polish formulated specifically for hand use only and is safe and effective on all glossy paints and clear coats (not for use on flat, matte, or satin finishes). If your car has light below surface defects, safely remove them while restoring a rich glossy appearance by hand in one easy step. Once done, your paint will be prepared and ready for protection with a good wax like Meguiar’s Gold Class Carnauba Plus, or sealant like Meguiar’s Ultimate Liquid Wax.

Wash & evaluate the paint before polishing

• Before applying the polishing compound, wash and dry the paint to remove loose dirt and debris. This is always an important step in detailing. Always use a pH balanced car wash soap like Meguiar's Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo & Conditioner, as this will gently clean and preserve your wax protection.
• Next, run your clean, dry fingertips over the paint. If the paint feels rough to the touch this indicates that you have bonded contaminants on top of your paint. These are things like tree sap mist, industrial fallout, road tar, and paint overspray. Meguiar’s Smooth Surface Clay Kit comes with everything you need to safely remove contaminants bonded on the paint and leave it as smooth as glass.
• Finally, evaluate the paint for below surface defects. If you have moderate swirls, scratches, oxidation, water spots, or etchings you would want to use a product like Meguiar’s Ultimate Compound or Meguiar’s Clear Coat Safe Rubbing Compound first before applying a polish and a wax.

Tips for applying Meguiar’s Polishing Compound

• For best results, apply in the shade to a cool, clean surface.
• Shake product well.
• Test first for effectiveness in a small area.
• For hand application only.
• Using light to moderate pressure, apply a small amount of the paint polish to the surface in an overlapping, circular pattern using a Meguiar’s Soft Foam Applicator, Meguiar’s Supreme Shine Microfiber Towel, or 100% cotton terry cloth towel.
• Do not let the polishing compound dry. Work in small sections at a time, removing the product with a clean Supreme Shine Microfiber Towel or 100% cotton terry cloth towel.
• Repeat this process on each section until the car is complete.
• Keep polish off rubber, vinyl and non-painted surfaces.
• For glossy paint finishes only (not for us on flat, matte, or satin finishes).
• Follow with your favorite Meguiar’s wax for long-lasting protection when done.
