Question:	Has turtle wax addressed the leaking container issue
Answer:	I purchased the Mothers product as a follow-on or maintenance product to keep my headlight lenses clear after using the brilliant 3M kit that uses the drill, foam pad and sand paper. While Mothers suggests this "clarifies, protects, and maintains", my interest is really only in the later 2 aspects of protect and maintain. The 3M kit worked so well for clarifying the lens, that I wouldn't consider switching should the need arise again. What convinced me to at least try this product was the inclusion of the UV inhibitors. Could be that this is marketing nonsense that I've fallen for; but, thought I'd give it a try. I apply this by hand once a month per instructions. Seems like a very fine polish unlike, say, the polish included in the Turtle Wax kit which you could see and feel cutting plastic even when using it with hand application. If you're looking for a fine maintenance polish then this one seems like a good fit.
Question:	How similar is the protection to a dedicated full ceramic application
Answer:	To apply step 3 item worked really nice
Question:	Can I apply a polymer sealant first and then the ceramic coating
Answer:	The silver part sticking off of the back of the black Velcro piece fits in the drill. If it's not there, then it's broken.

Answer:	Their sister product, Meguiar's Ultimate Wax, has a 3 - 5 minute dry time. I think no more than 10-20 minutes is required or desirable, unless the label says otherwise.

Answer:	Go around and apply it to the entire vehicle in one go. That will give the first panel enough time to cure and you can begin buffing off the now dry, hazy wax.
Question:	Do you need to wash the car first before you apply shine armor
Answer:	I use both, the paste works good on all cars and easier to buff out. The liquid takes longer to dry and smears when use too much. If you have a black or dark color car the paste is your best choice.

Answer:	I bought the red wax to try to cover up some dock scars on my boat and it didn’t hurt the decals so it shouldn’t be an issue.

How to prepare the vehicle’s paint before applying a wax  

For best results with Meguiar’s Hybrid Ceramic Wax, start with a freshly washed vehicle. Always use a pH balanced car wash soap like Meguiar’s Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo & Conditioner. Next, run your clean, dry fingertips over the paint. If the paint feels rough to the touch this indicates that you have bonded contaminants on top of your paint. These are things like tree sap mist, industrial fallout, road tar, and paint overspray. Meguiar’s Smooth Surface Clay Kit comes with everything you need to safely remove contaminants bonded on the paint and leave it as smooth as glass. Next, evaluate the paint for below surface defects. If you have light to moderate swirls, scratches, oxidation, water spots, or etchings you would want to use a product like Meguiar’s Ultimate Compound. Then, you would follow with a polish like Meguiar’s Ultimate Polish for maximum gloss and depth of shine before applying your wax protection.

A few tips when applying Meguiar’s Hybrid Ceramic Wax

• For best results, the car should be cool to the touch and in the shade.
• Wash your car with any Meguiar’s car wash. Follow the directions on the label.
• After rinsing the vehicle thoroughly of all wash soap, spray Meguiar’s Hybrid Ceramic Wax over all exterior surfaces. Unlike traditional wax, the surface does not require 100% coverage, as the water will help spread the wax for you.
