Answer:	i am a car nut as opposed to just a regular nut. on a 96 impala ss i used a machine and it was scary as to creating swirls and so on. meguiars is the finast wax and product line i have ever used and in over 50 years of detailing great cars i wish i would of found this out long ago. by hand you simply do a better job and a safer job. it takes longer but the finished product is worth it.

Answer:	The 3 step paint treatment from Meguiars recommends using the 3 products: Compound for removing swirl marks, contamination, scratches and rust. Polish for dark colored cars to enrich the color. Wax to protect the paint. If your paint is in mint condition, you probably don't need Compounding and you can go directly to Waxing. By the way, this is the best Wax ever !!
Question:	How long should I leave the wax on
Answer:	You absolutely CAN use it on a new car. I did, applying it the second week after I bought my metallic black car. I did it in my garage where there was no sunlight, but a shady spot on the driveway would also be good. I applied it by hand in small sections, following the directions carefully about not letting it get too dry. I used several clean microfiber cloths to remove it, and finished with a very light buffing with my polisher, though I think this last step wasn't necessary. It does NOT hurt the clearcoat. Info on the package confirms this. I think the Meguiar web site says the same thing. Take a look at Meguiar dot com for more details, but I highly recommend this product, and Amazon's price is far better than what you'll find in auto parts stores, or big box stores. I was very pleased with the outcome.

Tips for applying Meguiar’s Gold Class Carnauba Plus Wax

Answer:	I apply tech shine 2-3 times per year. Once in early spring, possibly a summer touch up, then once again in the fall, just before the cold sets in. Best product I’ve used for winter protection, snow just slides off most of the time. Apply liberally to all the windows for best winter visibility.

Answer:	Varies.. If your car is not exposed to the elements (parked in a garage). You could get multiple washings before having to re-apply. Answer:	Not to cut you short, but: Follow the Manufacture's washing instructions, by making sure your use it in the SHADE. And don't waste any time applying and washing off. I use a leaf blower and a soft terry towel to "touch it off". The trick is getting it on and off quickly, so the hard water doesn't affect the surface.. Sunshine is a no, no. Especially with hard water.

Answer:	Heat soy wax to 180°F, add dye flakes. Let cool to 150°F and add scent oil. Stir constantly for a minute or two once wax cools to 120°. Then pour. The wax has to be 180° to melt the dye wax/flakes. No hotter than 150° but no cooler than 145° for scent molecules to bond. Let cool before pouring to 120° or else you get tunnel holes that you'll have to go back and fill.

Answer:	It was a bust. It didn’t work at all. It was cheap so I didn’t bother to return it, but don’t waste your money.

Answer:	Scratches are pieces of the paint removed, and the metal underneath it damaged. So, no, nothing except sanding the scratch out of the metal and repainting is actually going to remove a scratch. Miniscule surface scratches in the top coat only (called "swirls") can be kept filled in regularly and made to look like they're removed, or buffed out of the top coat with a buffer and some compound, but the bottom line is, nothing is actually going to "remove" scratches. It just minimizes their appearance for awhile. And you wash your car FIRST, not after you put this on!
Question:	Will it keep completley remove the scratch or after a few washes does the scratch reappears and I have to keep using this product
Answer:	No it will not completely remove the scratch. It will temporarily get rid of light scratches. Deeper scratches are less visible. It does restore the shine and yes after several washes you will need to reapply. For the price it is a very good product.

Answer:	It works for me here in Arizona (it's a dry heat, ya know) where you can sear a steak on your car hood, just be sure to use a cooking mat so you don't scratch the hood with yer flipper and your steak taste like wax. I like the ceramic as it protects from sun damage as well. It's a good product and I'm very picky about what products I use on my show car.

How-to prepare the vehicle’s paint surface before waxing

For best results with Meguiar’s Ultimate Liquid Wax, start with a freshly washed vehicle. Always use a pH balanced car wash soap like Meguiar’s Ultimate Wash & Wax. Next, run your clean, dry fingertips over the paint. If the paint feels rough to the touch this indicates that you have bonded contaminants on top of your paint. These are things like tree sap mist, industrial fallout, road tar, and paint overspray. Meguiar’s Smooth Surface Clay Kit comes with everything you need to safely remove contaminants bonded on the paint and leave it as smooth as glass. Finally, evaluate the paint for below surface defects. If you have light to moderate swirls, scratches, oxidation, water spots, or etchings you would want to use a product like Meguiar’s Ultimate Compound. From there you would follow with a polish like Ultimate Polish for maximum shine before applying your wax protection.

A few tips when applying the Ultimate Liquid Wax

• One of the biggest mistakes people make when applying a wax is applying it too heavily. This only prolongs drying time, making the wax more difficult to remove and using more product than necessary. Always spread the wax very thin and evenly over the paint.
• For the easiest removal, use a clean, dry microfiber towel like Meguiar's Supreme Shine Microfiber Towel (included in the box). Please be aware that low temperatures and/or high humidity can prolong the initial curing time of Ultimate Wax.
