Answer:	Im guessing it's synthetic, but it's still fairly soft to the touch.

Answer:	They range in size from about 3 inches to 6 inches long/ wide, but they are not overly thick. You can't really stuff them with too much fluff, as it then becomes very difficult to sew them shut. I would say maximum thickness when done is not much more than an inch. They're really great though! My 4yr old and 8 yr old had a lot of fun putting them together, and I've gifted it to several friends with children. All gave positive feedback.

Question:	can an 8 year old use it
Answer:	The holes are not very large, even for the needles (which are plastic, by the way), so I took a small screwdriver and poked them bigger. I imagine if you did that, lace ends would work.

Answer:	There are plenty of material to use with this set. I suppose you could use other laces but I don’t know why you would want or need to replace the original materials.
Question:	can you make other things like doll dresses
Answer:	It really is designed to hand sew. It has holes punched in the felt material designed for floss to sew. I’m sure you could machine sew but it wouldn’t give the same look.
Question:	Does the kit include any needles? There are none in the pictures or lists. If it does, what kind are they
Answer:	I always tie my knots first before I cut any threads.
