Answer:	I bought this for my 11 year old granddaughter and it is great for her and it came with lots of feet. I always use a walking foot when I quilt. I guess you could buy a walking foot for this machine and it would quilt OK. I have a more expensive model for my sewing and quilting.

Answer:	The cord is less than 1/8th inch. And it is very flexible and squished through. The issue is threading it thru the zipper hole. I had hand surgery and got them for my clothes originally and then -bc they are so wonder-expanded to all types of items from purses to teeny tiny zippers on my little dogs boots. (Very tiny). I was able to do it -even with a splint on my dominant hand -using a needle threader or button threader. They are assistive devices for threading and are available on amazon. They made the difference. Depending on how many zippers or how small the zippers you may want to look into them. The needle threaders are available in the sewing department almost everywhere.
