Answer:	Yes, the torso can be separated from the iron stand.

Answer:	The rod is located in the middle of the leg. If you don’t mind unscrewing the screw that attaches the leg and the rod; then sure. But I’m sure that would be annoying but it’s definitely possible.

Question:	Which size should I buy to sell clothes? Is size 2/4 really that big? Or stick with
Answer:	I would stick with the 6/8 unless you are selling a lot of 00 or XXS clothing. Most clothes these days have some sort of spandex/knit, so sizes 2/4 adapt up well to this medium mannequin. Also, your larger sizes 10, 12, 14+ will look good on 6/8 because you can layer up, dress pin, or belt your item to show the look you’re going for. If you get the smaller size 2/4 mannequin, your larger size clothing will look like they are hungry/starving and skeletal....my opinion, you might as well just save your coins and showcase them on a hanger. I bought my mannequin in 2018 and I’ve only had one 100% cotton Kate Spade dress that wouldn’t fit - and I sell every brand including plus size Torrid & Lane Bryant. Hope that helps you. I think the middle ground lends itself to more use. :-)

Answer:	Mine is white. And it has has some color rub off on it from fabrics and collects lint.

Answer:	You can pin it, but it is a foam under the cloth, so eventually you will do damage to the foam. For things that I display, I use Clover Clips and fasten my items to themselves and avoiding damage to the mannequin.

Answer:	I have only displayed scarves and hats on the mannequin. But, I do not see why you couldn't display other items of clothing. I don't think it would be very good for heavy, bulky items like coats and jackets, though, because it is fairly light weight and would require some balancing with larger, heavier items.

Answer:	If you're referring to the height, there is a knob on the post going up to the bodice and one within the bodice itself.

Answer:	I do not know. I do not need sizes like S, M, L, XL I find sizes by measurements. Also, I used different bra cups, shoulder pads, but in a meantime, I build the standard and personal dress forms from scratch. I do not use this Dress-form Fitting System anymore.

How to adjust waist length

To length the torso/waist，notice a white plastic toothed collar covering the gray center pole located under the inside skirt of the form.

Turn the white collar slightly to the left to disengage retainer teeth,pull down until the desired length is obtained,twist collar to the right to re-engage the teeth.

To return to original height,simply reverse the preceding stage.



How to set the hemline gauge:with the hem gauge bar in the horizontal position,disengage the center collar retaining clip.

Slide the collar up or down until the top of the collar lines up with the requires height.

Engage the center collar retaining clip.

For full or flared hemlines,place the dress on the dress form inside out or turn the hem up to face.

1.keep the plastic bag provided to cover the dress form and help eliminate dust.

2.For form fitting dresses,always leave a vertical seam partly open,finish sewing the seam after having removed the dress form the form.

Answer:	The instructions were fairly easy. I spent just a little dividing the size by 4 and dialing each dial surrounding the breast, waist, hips, once that was done my measurements were measured correctly to what I wanted . I am sewing for a double mastectomy lady who chooses no prosthetic and the span of measurement went to her smallest to her largest measurement over the entire form. You'll get used to it.

Answer:	It does not have the full batting of a traditional seamstress mannequin, just a cloth covering over a solid form. So it’s best suited for display and not fabric piecing.
