Answer:	I would think that of the paper is secured it should cut through it about 1/4 to 1/2 inch at a time, however you need to be aware that there is a little screw behind the blade on the right side (as you are cutting) that likes to catch on things, so you'll want to watch out for that.

Answer:	That’s the unfortunate thing about all these fabric cutters: the lack of capability in cutting a straight line (or guided line or curve). I would suggest using a metal straight edge (about an 1/8th thick or more) so the cutting tools metal plate can’t glide over the straight edge —or inadvertently move the straight edge. Unfortunately, using this aforementioned method, you’d have to at least pre-mark the beginning and end of your cut, or place a transparent plastic ruler above this thicker straight edge.

Answer:	Your fabric cutter should have come with tools, another round-shaped disc for sharpening and springs in a ziploc bag. No blade was included. A booklet for instructions/parts was in the box as well. There shouldn’t be a need to change the blade right away. The round-shaped disc between the handle and blade is used to sharpen the blade as needed. I cut through several layers of fabric to make mask when I first used the cutter with success. Notify the company you were missing the stated tools and replacement parts.

Answer:	I don’t think you’ll have to replace the blade very often. The cutter has a sharpening stone attached, which is wry easy and effective to use. It looks like a standard blade. I don’t know if you have to buy a “special blade”, but you can buy the Rototech blades from Amazon. I’ve been very happy with mine. It does a great job.
