Answer:	It is a "shim" that's necessary for cutting wafer thins but it comes with the Vagabond when you buy it. Good youtubes to watch are put out by Scrapbooking made Simple. Love my vagabond 2!

Answer:	I have had no trouble with many brands of thin, intricate dies. All of the brands may have issues with cutting completely, but it's the dies that are the issue, not the Vagabond. Go to YouTube to get suggestions for solving this issue...placing dies closer go the edges, using additional paper or scotch tape shims, etc. I bought the Vagabond 2 because my original Vagabond, nearly 10 years old, gave up the ghost after thousands of cuts. I love my Vagabond and would recommend it highly.
Question:	Is it compatible with OS (iMac
Answer:	Yes...it is quieter and less likely to jam. My old Vagabond got knocked on the floor by my cat and just quit working. The improvements are significant. but I wouldn't replace a working Vagabond with this one...As long as your machine works, use it.

Answer:	Mine came with the platform, two clear cutting plates and the thin adapter for using the thin dies. I purchased the longer cutting plates separately.

Answer:	I use acrylic blocks for these stamps so don't know if they can be mounted on wood blocks or not. They were made to be used onthe acrylic blocks. I wouldn't want to ruin them by mounting them on wood.

Answer:	The template in the set is a thin sheet of plastic with designs cut out of it. It is a pattern for you to use. You place it on the surface you are working on and use paints, markers, colored pencils, etc.

Answer:	Great question! You have to rub it so the adhesive sticks nicely to the back of the paper - and therefore, makes a better sticker! Be sure to always follow this important step! Hope this helps!

Answer:	You need to purchase the cutting mats that are made by Brother, we have the 12x12 and also the 12x24, I also recommend that you purchase the deep cut blade and holder if you plan to cut heavy items. my Granddaughter cut her own stencils out of plastic sheets she got at Hobby lobby, this machine is the best on the market and I highly recommend it but also recommend =you only use the items made by the brother company if you want it to work right, good luck and I know you will be amazed at all it does. if you want to spend the extra, I purchased the case for my granddaughter also it is padded and everything you have goes in it , it is on wheels and has a handle it is the best way to store and transport the machine, again you cannot go wrong with this machine and the mats etc.

Answer:	I live in Australia and my mats were delivered within 10 days but I didnt notice anything saying it look 1-2 months.
Question:	What do I need to cut fabric, what mat and other tools
Answer:	For cutting fabric you need to buy the high tack adhesive fabric pack. It doesn’t include fabric but is much tackier and will hold the fabric firmly. You put this high tack adhesive sheet onto the low tack mat and mark that mat for fabric only. If it starts to lose it’s sticky you clean it with a baby wipe that doesn’t have any alcohol in it and that cleans off dirt and threads and restores the sticky.

(2) There are several file types that Silhouette Studio can import. If you have the basic version of Studio you can import STUDIO/STUDIO3 files, GSD/GST and DXF files. The software can also import image file types (JPG, PNG, BMP, GIF and TIF Files) and then trace the image using an auto-trade function to create cut lines. Upgraded version of Studio software can import additional file types. Silhouette Studio Designer edition can import SVG and PDF files. Silhouette Studio Plus can import embroidery file types, such as PES, DST, EXP, JEF, and XXX files. Our Studio Business Edition add the ability to open Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW native files, AI, EPS and CDR. (3) No monthly subscription is required to use and operate the Cameo 4. The all new CAMEO 4 now features a built in roll feeder. Since select rolled materials (such as vinyl and heat transfer material) have their own backing, they generally do not require a cutting mat and can be fed directly into the Silhouette cutting machine. The Roll Feeder provides an easy and convenient way to hold rolled material as it is being fed into the Silhouette cutting machine, thus allowing you the convenience of cutting longer jobs while properly aligning your material so that it is straight as it feeds through the machine.
