Cleaning the GO! Big Electric Fabric Cutter is a breeze! To clean the cutter inside and out, use a soft dry cloth. Avoid abrasives, solvents and any spray cleaners. If necessary, wipe with a very damp cloth, then polish the machine with a dry cloth. Use canned air to clear lint from the roller area. For best results and easy use, it’s important to always keep your cutter clean and lint free.

Place

Cutting fabric has never been easier! Our GO! Big Electric Fabric Cutter Starter Set can accurately cut up to six layers of fabric at one time while maintaining maximum efficiency. To get started, layer the die, fabric and cutting mat together. To ensure you produce the most accurate cuts during your next project, be sure the die is layered foam side up and the fabric is placed on the lengthwise grain. Our two-tone foam makes aligning the fabric over your desired shape not only easy, but it also allows you to conserve fabric.

Answer:	I don’t regret buying it from Amazon. The package deal was the same as the quilt store, but they were out. I haven’t heard anyone complaining about the does not being sharp.

Answer:	One of my mats was slightly warped, placed it flat with a heavy book on it and the next day it was fine.

Answer:	No, it's very easy. 6 layers of fabrics is the maximum layers and if it's too hard for you to turn the handle cut less layers. That's what I do.

Answer:	you can use any pattern you have and create a block with any of the Accuquilt GO dies. Let your imagination run. There are so many GO Books out there with many patterns. The 8" Qube comes with a 4" finished square, a 2" finished square, half square triangle 4" finished, quarter square trianglew 4" finished, half square trinagle 2" finished, square on oint 2 3/4" finished, parallelogram 45 degree and the retangle 2 x 4 finished. Question:	Does this work go baby
Answer:	Depending on the fabric, the mfg. says the dies are good for 100-200 cuts. Keep in mind, that's six layers of normal cotton fabric. After that, they have to be replaced. The Accuquilt machine itself has no sharp edges, and doesn't get dull.
Question:	Is 2.25 the cut or finished width
Answer:	The mat that comes with the Go is 6" x 12". We bought this as a group of quilters and we have just enjoyed the heck out of it. Accurate cuts every time. Each of us buys the dies we like, and everyone can use them. If you have quilting friends, this is the way to "Go" to cut down the cost!

Answer:	No, it is to wide for the GO! Baby. This die is 10 inches wide and the GO! baby can only go up to 6 inches wide. If you look at the first number in the mat needed for any given Accuquilt die, it will let you know which machine it can work in. If the first number of the mat needed for a die is 6 or less, it will work in all three machines, GO!, GO! Big, and GO! Baby. If the first number of the mat needed is 10, it will work in the GO! and GO! Big. If the first number of the mat needed is 14, it will only work in the GO! Big. This die needs a 10 x 24 mat, so since the first number is a 10, it will only work in the GO! or GO! Big, but NOT the GO! Baby. Thanks, Oren

Answer:	I don't remember mine coming with any dies. But if it did it would have been the standard 4 1/2 ", 2 1/2" squares and 2 1/2 in triangles as I do have that die.
Question:	my handle comes off my go big can i just glue it back
Answer:	I would say the mats that go over the dies would last for 4 or 5 quilts. one thing you can turn them over and around so even if you are cutting out the same shape say a Apple Core or Square you will have cut marks on different places. Also you will want to have the mat more or less match you die. there is one that is 20 by 10 it think and one that 10 by 10 and one that is about 5 by 10 or something like that. One lady I know used a old rotary mat she cut up. As far as I know the rest of the machine is basically pretty wear resistant. It reminds me of an old hand crank ringer on an old washing tub. Of course I am older than dirt so others may not remember them.

Answer:	The 5x 10 is not big enough. You probably have the 6 inch square or 8 inch square in which I do have. I hope this answers your question.

Answer:	You can use any Studio dies as well as any GO! dies with the Studio 2 Fabric cutter with a GO! adapter. The Studio cutter is our heaviest cutter at 23 pounds. It can be folded up and moved but at 32 pounds it is best suited in its own dedicated space as it can be heavy depending on ability.

Answer:	The 2 1/2 inch die cuts a 2 1/2 inch strip. When the seams are sewn, it finishes at 2 inches.

Answer:	Yes, just because this is a 24 inch long die doesn't mean you can't longer strips. The blades only run vertical, but not horizontal. This means you can cut strips up to 144 inches long. The Accuquilt can cut up to 6 layers of cotton. So get your 144 inch long fabric, or 42 inch in your case, accordion fold the fabric on the die, place your cutting mat on top, and run it through the machine. This will give you the strips the length you need. Remember this is a 10 inch wide board, so it will only work in the GO! or GO! Big, it won't fit in the GO! Baby. Thanks, Oren

Answer:	The strip cutter is cutting straight strips such as 1,2,3 inch strips which is usually used in your borders of your quilt or to make bindings or can be cut into blocks...see you tube...the fabric dies are used to either applique on to quilts or used to make a type of quilt like the apple core die or the tumbler,drunkards path etc...if you go to you tube and key in the die your interested in you can see how the die is used.....please feel free to ask more questions
Question:	What's the wheel spread? I have a similar bag with a 7" wheel spread and the case wobbles because the wheels are too close and the bag is unstable
Answer:	You can if you were to run this die through a GO! or GO! Big cutter. If you were using the GO! Baby, this die would fit, but the mat would be to bigso you would have to get the 6x24 mat anyway. You are better off using the 6x24 mat because it will give you a snug fit all the way around. You can use the 10x24 if you need to. Just remember to help guide it through so it doesn't shift or more. Thanks, Oren
Question:	How many large and small dies will fit in this tote
Answer:	Not sure if it will fit, but there are some things to look out for. First off make sure your Sizzix is wide enough. This die is 6 inches wide, so the opening on your Sizzix machine needs to be at least that. Next you will need to experiment with spacers and mats to get it to fir though correctly. paper cutting machines, like the the Sizzix, tend to have taller openings than the fabric cutting machines. You will need to experiment with spacers and cutting mats to make sure you get a good snug fir though your machine. Thanks, Oren

Answer:	Look at the zoom on bottom right side of every package. There are two small blocks. If there is an X in the pink square it works on the Go Baby. The Green square above means it works on the Go. Both marked X -it works on both. Looks like this one works on both.If the pink square has no mark it will not work on the baby.

Answer:	Thanks Tracey for trying to answer, there is a newer Green tote, which last time I looked was $159.00 but at the time I asked the black of this design was $116. and the Green of this design was $84.60. 2 days after I asked the black ones price was reduced also. Maybe I was just ahead of the power curve.

Answer:	The wheels on this rolling tote are 10" apart. It is very sturdy and does not wobble in the least. I have the Go cutter and two 24" strip dies in it and it maneuvers with not problem. I highly recommend this item.
