Question:	Can I use this on acrylic and stainless steel
Answer:	This is traditional Watercolour Gouache. It is not acrylic.
Question:	What medium should these be mixed with? I tried Elmer's glue and little bit of water and pour came out horrible. Very dull not happy
Answer:	You CAN use Gouache and Watercolour on wood for display. However, I would not recommend this for painting a desk top, or any surface that you plan to actually use as some kind of work-surface. (Unless you are able to apply some kind of sealer over it without damaging your art.) Acrylic is really better suited to your particular application...and I would still recommend a coating of varnish, or similar protectant.

Question:	Work with 3d prints? pla, abs, atc
Answer:	This answer is probably irrelevant now but I'll say it anyway. I'm sure it would work on 3D print plastic, but for a better job I would recommend acrylic paint. This is from my basic understanding and very little use of 3d printers.

Answer:	The gouache paints are not very suitable for a travel pallet, I think. The reason is that they shrink and crumble in the pallet and the pallet needs to be straight up to be sure that the colors do not mix.

Answer:	Yes- Gouache is gouache. It’s just an opaque version of watercolors basically. They are both water based and use gum arabic as a binder. Gouache tends to have calcite added to it to give it a matte finish when dry, which makes scanning easier. Some brands add white to further opacify the paints, especially student paints, but some professional lines do this as well. So you asked if gouache and gouache Watercolor are the same, gouache is gouache and watercolor is watercolor,. They are different in opacity and finish, but they are closely related mediums. There is some gouache made with acrylic, this is an untraditional variation of traditional gouache. Looking up the history of paints is actually quite interesting. Tempera paints now days are acrylic and have also been called “sign paints or design paint”. Both gouache and acrylic “tempera” paint was used by ad illustrators and designers, but true Tempera was originally egg tempera, and it was used before oil paints were made and discovered for fine art applications centuries ago.

Answer:	I do not think you want to use this fabric ink for tie dying. It's quite thick. I use this ink for stamping on cloth. Try Procion dyes or even Rit dye for tie dying.

Answer:	I have traveled across the world with this and kept it in a small ziplock baggie, and even when the colors are a bit moist there is no leaking into the bag that I've experienced.

Answer:	I have the 48 half pan set and I have had this palette for three years and It has lasted me! You can buy cartridges to replace the colors instead of a whole new palette. I love this palette! It is my first palette that I can refill! The paints are beautiful and I love combining this palette with tubes as well! But anyways to answer your question they will last you a long time! I have half pans that are lasting me forever and I paint every day! And these are full pans so they really will last you! I highly recommend these!

Answer:	No, the Cotman line from Winsor & Newton is their student grade line, and it contains 40 paints. Their professional line is called Winsor & Newton Professional Watercolours, and they cost much more than Cotman watercolour sets. For example, the Winsor & Newton Cotman field kit of 12 colours costs approximately $50, whereas the Winsor & Newton Professional Artist's field kit of 12 colours would run approximately $100 or more. I've been a visual artist/creative professional for nearly twenty years, and I've been using Winsor & Newton products (as well as several other brands) for even longer. The Cotman watercolour line, while being a student grade line, is still very good quality; in fact, there are some professional artists who use Cotman (I've seen portraitists and botanical artists who choose Cotman specifically because it handles well with the way they work), while many others prefer the dense pigmentation of the Professional line. It's all a matter of personal taste and your preferred method of working. In my opinion, this Cotman set would make a fine addition to any artist's media stash. Answer:	I've read (on Winsor Newton's info page) that you cannot refill half pans with Winsor Newton watercolor tube paints, as they are formulated differently and will not work well when completely dry. However, Daniel Smith and Holbein watercolors can be used to refill your half pans. M. Graham also works well though they take a long time to dry in a pan because they have honey in them.

We haven't tested this out personally, but if you'd like to just tint the epoxy resin to a different color (which will still be transparent), you can get a resin dye or tint instead of acrylic paints. Acrylic paint is generally water-based, so not a great compatibility when mixed with resin. You can, however, paint resin when cured or coat acrylic paints with resin when it's dry. Hope this helps.
