Answer:	Yes, clean the surface your spray painting with degreaser even dawn liquid dish soap.. or even better liquid deglosser, if you don’t wanna spent the money on deglosser(cheap) just sand lightly with 220 to dull the shine to adhere the paint and do 3 light coats with 3-5 minutes between coats this paint drys fast to the touch but takes 3-4 days to completely dry hard

Answer:	I second the idea to use a rusty-metal Primer first; then a gray primer, which most closely matches silver and will hide scratches better, yet may make painting coverage more difficult to see depending on lighting (while spraying); and then last the finish coats of paint (silver). Krylon's part numbers and packaging (12oz. & 15oz.) may change over time, they also sell versions identified as industrial.
Question:	Does it work on plastic
Answer:	Plastic doesn't rust, use something else.
Question:	Will this spray work well as a final layer on metal or does it need a protective layer on top
Answer:	This paint works great as a final coat. It is hard and resists chips well. I use it on engine and drivetrain components.

Answer:	In my experience this Rust Tough sticks to most things just like Krylon says. The only things I have had trouble with are very smooth surfaces. If you paint a very smooth surface use sand paper or something that will score the surface, and this will give the paint something to bond to.

Answer:	It should because it did bond well with my plastic outdoor wicker!

Answer:	I used it on outdoor wicker on my porch. Of course it was plastic but the tables were all different colors of "wicker." Gave it a beautiful finish and months later, still looks like new with NO chipping or flaking. And I live in Florida where the humidity destroys everything! I highly recommend this product. Just make it two coats and don't glop it on.

Question:	I put vinyl on a yeti and it keeps coming off. Would this help to seal it on there? It would just be on the outside and my mouth would not touch it
Answer:	Permanent vinyl, such as 651 needs to breathe. If you seal it and cover the pores it will start to peel.
Question:	I have some art work on scratch paper, can this protect my painting from scratching by other things
Answer:	It did not work for me. In areas where I had used neocolors, I could easily scratch that right off. In areas with ink, I could easily smudge with a tiny bit of moisture. It's fine over acrylics...but nothing special there either.
Question:	Can it make a chalkboard non porous
Answer:	If you want to "seal" a chalkboard that is written on or decorated with chalk or paint, yes this is perfect for preserving this type of project. However, if you spray on a blank chalkboard, you will not be able to use chalk on it. You could possibly use chalk markers over it, but not too sure how that might work out, especially if you want to wipe off and reuse, like a dry-erase type thing. Hope these suggestions help.

Answer:	Yes, I use this product to seal photos on wood backings. Be patient and don't overdue on the first coat - use multiple (light) coats to get that gloss seal.

Answer:	The sheets I received are 100% polyester, but I really like them. Soft and comfy.

Answer:	Elastic all the way around. Sheet is very thin & cool. The flat Queen doesn't exactly fit to the end of the bed so if you are a stickler for neat and orderly you may have to overlook that. You can tuck on the sides. Also, if you have a pillow-top forget the fitted fitting correctly. Grand-son likes them and they work well enough. Oh one other thing - I'm a bit anal about things, the rows across on the flat sheet are not even, LOL - probably just my hang-up.

Answer:	Yes but safe from constant exposure to the elements. I sprayed my belly castings for my two girls I keep them indoors away from sunlight. The spray is a great texturize just overly with a sealant if exterior use ie bird baths or candelabras. Wouldn’t recommend it for house spray or anything super large outdoors.

Answer:	It does stick to clay, wood ... I guess it would.

Answer:	Can I spray a fabric lampshade with this? Will it stick?

Answer:	I used it on a plastic cable box outside to make the box "disappear". It eventually chipped off, but it took awhile. The box, however, was somewhat protected by overhanging eaves. If the stone is smooth, I don't think it'll adhere very well. If it's brick, you can paint it with regular house paint, but it takes a bunch of coats because the brick absorbs the paint.

Answer:	I doubt it. It fairly thick even for spray paint. For THAT kind of look I think you would have to be prepared to spray then WIPE the surface to your desired opaqueness. BTW, there IS a new paint that ACCENTUATES the wood grain it's a nice look & I'm pretty sure you can find it on Amazon. Good luck

Answer:	Probably, though I'd be inclined to prime first. But the two cans I bought had a very ordinary matte finish, not chalky at all. A real waste at this premium price.
Question:	Do you need to put a top coat if you use this on glass so it does not scrape off
Answer:	There's no real need but a protective coating of varnish matte or gloss is very necessary. I'D do a top coat of 1 more later of paint because it's thicker than normal paint. Allow it to cure for a few hours between coats then varnish or wax it be real careful about the surface for at least a month as it finishes "curing" to a harder finish.
Question:	Will the krylon chalky finish spray paint, misty gray work on wicker furniture
Answer:	Yes, I sprayed a wicker basket with it and it works great. I wouldn't use it on something that will high volume of sitting.

Answer:	I used it on wicker. It was darker and more to the green side than shown on the lid, but there was no problem with coverage or chipping.

Answer:	I would say no if you plan on using them in a lamp. The heat of the bulb would most likely be a problem for the paint. If you're using the bulb for a project, this spray is great on glass.
