Answer:	You probably will need a larger amount of paint. This particular product is for model care and airplanes. My suggestion is to get larger size enamel paint ( 1 quart sized cans) in the colors you want, and get a clear gloss to seal it.

Answer:	This will only cover up the sculpture like paint. Will not fix the rust already there, but will protect it from rusting more.

Answer:	Even though this oil based enamel is made to be used on metal, it will stick to clean dry concrete, which is dried cement . I know this because I had some drip onto a sidewalk while painting something else two years ago, and the paint is still there.

Answer:	You will need a primer if the wood is bare. It resists moisture, thus preventing rust, but is not for immersion. If you need extra water proofing, I would seal the wood with something especially for that purpose. However, I am not truly experienced in this area, so do check with someone else. I got this paint for my metal balcony chairs. I only used it on my wood table so far and it has sealed perfectly through this past Pennsylvania winter.
Question:	Does this item contain Alkyds
Answer:	This is oil based enamel is for use on metal. As far as I can see, the label does not mention alkyds anywhere. It does say: Warning :Contains Petroleum Distillates. Vapor harmful. May affect the brain or nervous system...blah blah blah... Use only with adequate ventilation. " And also: "Unleaded- Safe for use on children's toys, furniture, etc Max VOC<500 g/l. For metal surfaces only." Hope this helps.

Answer:	No. You have to use thinner to wash brushes and remove paint and thin also. No water. It is oil based.

Answer:	These are GENERIC oil based paints. If you want paint for cars you will need to go to an automotive paint store and spend hundreds of dollars for the correct primers, sealers, degreasers, base coat, clear coat, etc. Not to mention a compressor, air lines, spray guns, and spray masks. Answer:	I did not note any peeling of the rustoleum after rolling. I prepped the area by using drill with steel brush and belt sander with 120 and 80 sandpaper. Then used mild detergent and water to clean metal.

Answer:	I used it to paint antique iron beds. It would look better if I sanded them first. I think that this paint works really well.

Answer:	Yes as long as the proper preparation to make the paint adhere. It is actually what I would personally recommend for metal if you are looking for a reasonably priced durable finish, I have painted mini things using Rust-Oleum quart paints as an example tomorrow I will be painting the inside of my aluminum boat (used in salt water) using a cheap spray gun, a quart of Rust-Oleum and some acetone to thin the paint.

Question:	Can this be used to paint the inside of a metal tin? Never used enamel paint before. Do I just paint it on and let it air dry
Answer:	I haven't tried the white paint on metal. I suggest you paint a little on a piece of metal and see how it turns out. Sometimes it is best to give the metal a primer coat of paint before putting on the white paint. That way it won't show the metal.

Answer:	I did without a problem, it will start to flake after about 6 months. You'd be better off with something else for long term, but the effect is pretty good and will not hurt you or irritate the skin. (in my experience anyways)

Answer:	You put 10 dollar clear glue over a 300 dollar door knob?.... The fact that your handset can't survive without a cheap enamel is more worrisome. My 15 dollar Kwikset knob looks brand new after 7 years.
Question:	Will this product seal a chrome shower caddy to prevent rust? ... or should I just purchase a stainless steel caddy
Answer:	In my case, so far so good with my shower caddy, which was treated with the Rust-Oleum product.

Answer:	I wouldn't recommend it to cover smoke smell.
Question:	I want to custom paint skateboards and have them last in weather, will this protect the paint and wood and not hurt the paint already on the board
Answer:	I have a son that was a skateboarder, I don't think I'd rely on this to protect the underside of a skateboard in use. It would be fine for a light coverage, but for a board, you'd need a poly or something thicker and stronger. This stuff is great for display items, I used it on Christmas ornaments I hand painted. Paint held up fine but it wasn't being battered. I suggest a thick polyurethane if your goal is to keep the underside of a board the same.
Question:	how many cans do you think are required to apply 2 thin coats to a primed and painted 25 ft. flag pole
Answer:	There's really no way to figure this accurately. If I was doing it I'd start with 5 cans and expect to need more. A good solution would be to order one can, see how far it goes, then order what you think you'll need to finish the job.
Question:	People are saying in answers that it is white, yet the illutration is a beige or light tan. Which is it? Thank you
Answer:	Its not white but it is a lighter beige color.
